Scratchy basketball by the #1 Seed Baylor Bears vs the #16 Seed Hartford Hawks, and yet, it's a 16-point lead for Baylor. Bad look for Mark Vital losing his temper and fouling out after the technical foul.

Vital was right - didn't even touch the guy, and their coach said something crappy to him. Bunch of BS, we need to clean the sloppiness up. But, the blow to the head on Flaggler was a good call, and we're back to 20, so I'll take it. And these announcers need to avoid making excuses, without acknowledging our loss of Tristian Clark.

No surprise watching Butler, Mitchell, and Teague carry the Baylor offense in the 1st Round. I'd like Baylor to build a 30+ point lead going into the final 3-4 minutes, then rest the starters for the 2nd Round. Plenty of open looks on 3-point shots this afternoon. Some of the baskets from beyond the arc look pretty sweet.

Haven't really seen terrible calls. Just normal officiating.

Hartford really gave it their all. Baylor just too deep, too many scoring options.

Vital fouling out makes me hopeful he will be careful with his fouls for the rest of the tournament. Sometimes when he really turns it on, he also fouls a lot. Gotta get used to the way the game is being called early on, if you're a big man.

Those two series perfectly describe Mayer: airballs a dunk, goes down the court and gives up a layup for his man, comes to the other end of the court, makes a great steal after a missed shot and rebound by the other team, then hits a soft jumper.
