You hold a team to 16 points in regulation and still cant get it done on offense. This is hopefully the beginning of the end

Very disappointed in the camera men. They usually put the spotlight on Jerry the instant the Cowboys lose. Love to see that look on his face. They robbed me tonight.

I just don't see how not having a #1 receiver makes much sense.

I'll get to hear it at work tomorrow. Goody.

Horrible night overall. Garrett will be gone at the end of the season. Very disappointed in our defensive backfield. Maybe Kris Richards is not the coach I thought he was

Without DeAndre Hopkins, Texans lose by two-three TDs. Dude is a beast

Good news is that Geoff Swaim is emerging as a solid TE. Saw some nice blocking last night. Also Rico had some moments. That is good news. Starting to see what Cowboys saw in practice.

BTW - what the heck was Garrett thinking when he punted in OT on the Texan 42 yd line on 4th and 1? You knew the next score by whomever would win the game. Go for it. If you dont make it, so be it. The still have a long way to go

MARINO'S 2019 MOCK DRAFT 2.0
JOE MARINOOCTOBER 8, 2018
Troy Wayrynen-USA TODAY Sports
With over 80 percent (26 of 32 teams) of the NFL having multiple losses through the first five weeks of the season, this year promises to be filled with drama that will ultimately shape the landscape of the 2019 NFL Draft. But for now, this is the current draft order as dictated by the results to date.

The Falcons and Eagles picking in the top-10 is highly unexpected. Oh, and I thought it was a lock for the Cardinals and Bills to be vying for the No. 1 overall pick? WELP!
There's a whole lot of season left to play, but if the NFL Draft was tomorrow, this is exactly how it would play out (sarcasm font). Happy Monday, good people!
No. 1 New York Giants
PICK: Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon

Just like David Gettleman planned it. After passing on choosing a QB with pick No. 2 in 2018, the Giants secure its QB of the future in Herbert. While there are rumblings that Herbert may stay in school, he's a top-5 lock which makes it insane for me to believe this isn't his final season in college. He has displayed impressive accuracy this season to complement his standout physical traits this season and is the clear-cut best QB in the rising draft class.

No. 2 Indianapolis Colts
PICK: Nick Bosa, EDGE, Ohio State

After years of dreadful roster construction under Ryan Grigson, current GM Chris Ballard is rebuilding the nucleus of Indy's roster. Bosa is a franchise-altering talent with game-changing pass rushing upside. His blend of size, technique, athletic ability and power makes him arguably the best prospect in the class.

No. 3 San Francisco 49ers
PICK: Greedy Williams, CB, LSU

The 49ers have the unenviable task of competing with Sean McVay and his high-powered Rams offense in the NFC West. After investing heavily in recent years in the front seven, San Francisco needs more talent in the secondary and Williams has the upside to be a game-changing lockdown corner. He has rare athletic ability and flexibility for his size with plus ball skills.

No. 4 Arizona Cardinals
PICK: Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama

Arizona has its franchise QB in Josh Rosen and now its time to protect him. Williams is the best offensive lineman in the class and has the upside to become an NFL franchise left tackle. With a pocket passer like Rosen who isn't the most mobile quarterback, making sure he can stay upright is critical to his development.

No. 5 Atlanta Falcons
PICK: Ed Oliver, DT, Houston

What the heck is Atlanta doing picking in the top-5? A defense that is decimated by injuries and a tough schedule hasn't helped. Turning things around shouldn't be difficult and the silver lining in a lost season for Atlanta is it has an opportunity to add top talent to an already stacked roster. Oliver is a rare and special talent. His athletic ability and burst is special. His hand usage and power overwhelm opponents. His range and motor is otherworldly. His flexibility and agility don't make sense for his size. Oliver has the upside to be the face of an NFL defense and become one of the top defensive playmakers in the NFL

No. 6 Oakland Raiders
PICK: Clelin Ferrell, EDGE, Clemson

Well Oakland suddenly has a massive need to build an arsenal of pass rushers and Ferrell is an exceptional talent. He's long, athletic and nuanced with his handwork to soften rush angles and beat blocks. Ferrell is a perfect fit for Paul Guenther's defense and can help fill the void created by the Khalil Mack trade.

No. 7 Dallas Cowboys
PICK: D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss

Dallas needs playmakers in the passing game and Metcalf has special traits. Listed at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, Metcalf has explosive burst and dominant play strength that make him difficult to cover. He features an outstanding above-the-rim game and a massive wingspan to win at the catch point. His foot and handwork alike in his release is exceptional and can give Dallas a dude like it once had when Dez was in his prime.

No. 8 Houston Texans
PICK: Yodny Cajuste, OT, West Virginia

In Deshaun Watson, Houston has one of the most exciting young QBs in football but he's getting killed out there! His offensive line is an embarrassment and Houston must commit to improving it in the offseason. Cajuste checks all the boxes required in terms of traits needed to win as a pass blocker in the NFL. He's long, athletic and fleet of foot with a strong anchor. He frames rushers well and knows how to keep them at the end of his reach. He needs some technical work but has considerable upside as a blindside protector in the NFL.

No. 9 Philadelphia Eagles
PICK: Raekwon Davis, DT, Alabama

What the heck are the Super Bowl Champions doing picking in the top-10? I've got a feeling that when it's all said and done, they won't be but if they are, adding a premier talent like Davis would be a nice consolation prize. In so many ways, Davis reminds me of 49ers standout DeForest Buckner. Davis is long, athletic and powerful which leads to him dictating reps and owning the line of scrimmage. He knows how to use his hands to control blockers and shed blocks. He is versatile and physically gifted

No. 10 New York Jets
PICK: Montez Sweat, EDGE, Mississippi State

The Jets would love to add an offensive lineman to protect Sam Darnold but I'm afraid there are no options quite worthy of the pick in this scenario. Instead, adding a pass rusher like Sweat would vastly improve the Jets ability to affect opposing QBs. Sweat showcases good vision when reading the set of his opponent, hand usage and a variety of counters to complement his hot motor that makes him a highly effective pass rusher.

Agree...honestly in my ideal world we (Baylor) would have built a scaled down version of Texas Stadium (it was only 20K larger) with the roof. Also didn't realize until reading about it recently that the roof itself was structurally independent from the stadium itself.

Whether you were there in person or watching on TV, night games there were just the pinnacle of experiencing world class football. That and unlike AT&T or just about any venue these days, you instantly knew where the game was the minute the stadium view came on the tube. The prominence of the names in the ring of honor as cameras panned down the field. The prominent crown of the field and the big stars on the sidewalls of the stands...and patriotic bunting for special occasion. Yeah, I do miss her...she wasn't the sterile egg that AT&T and most modern stadiums are.
