The NFL announced that the 2026 salary cap will be $301.2 million. This is a $22 million increase from 2025. Agents of NFL free agents can begin negotiating contracts with teams at Noon ET on March 9, with NFL free agency officially opening at 4 p.m. ET on March 11.

Commanders Release OL Tyler Biadasz
The Washington Commanders have released center Tyler Biadasz. Biadasz had one year remaining on a three-year, $29.2 million deal, and his release will incur a $10.9 million cap hit and leave $8.1 million in dead cap. Biadasz was a key part of Washington's NFC Championship run last season. He was a Pro Bowler on the Dallas Cowboys in 2022. He's now an unrestricted free agent.

He would almost certainly be better than most 4th round draft pics, but he's OLB and we really need some MLBs. Not sure how Parker runs his 3-4. Tremaine is about 250, so there's that.

Cowboys offer to Aubrey is now $7.5 per, about a mil above the highest kicker salary. according to the Dallas News, Aubrey's side is still demanding a long-term contract worth $10 million per year.

We know the Cowboys can create the cap space to let Pickens play on the $27.3 million franchise tag in 2026. … and now, just ahead of the March 3 deadline to do so, they have indeed tagged the star wideout.

How does this work? It's simple, really.

Pickens' non-exclusive franchise tag means he is guaranteed $27.3 mil for the year but that can negotiate with other bidders. They offer, then the Cowboys can match any offer (within a five-day window) or receive two first-round draft picks as compensation while saying goodbye.

If Jeramiah Love dropped to us, I would be sorely pressed to change directions. Dang but he looked a lot like Marshawn Lynch at times. He could easily run Slot and maybe even WR at times. 4.36 at 212 lbs
