So, it’s looking like both Art Briles’ former S&C coach and Art Briles’ son will be working on staff at TCU in the Year of our Lord 2023. What a world. https://t.co/6qPEcW4neO

Which seemed more likely to TCU fans in 2014:

A) TCU will make and get blown out in a national championship game
or
B) TCU will try to hire a Briles family member to run their offense? https://t.co/f6LxVwSDjM
Kendal Briles recently decided to stay at Arkansas after a few teams made a run at him.

Now, @frogstoday is reporting TCU and Briles are in ‘deep discussions’ for Horned Frogs OC spot.
Briles original contract had him with Hogs until February, until recent developments

Why would KB leave sec to tcu?
I love the Briles but KB hasn't been particularly special at any of his stops.
I would be quite amusing if tcu hired him

TCU folks on Twitter are adamantly opposed.
I failed to clearly voice opposition or call for accountability and transparency when Kazadi was hired, and I’m very sorry I didn’t, even if it wouldn’t have changed anything.

Dykes and Jeremiah Donati getting to skate by on that decision simply set them up to do it again.
And like with Kazadi, they’ll talk about how thorough the vetting process was before making the hire.

And for the folks willfully misrepresenting or ignoring the point here, read @ShehanJeyarajah.

The point is not blacklisting these coaches. The point is if you’re going to hire them, you have to show the work you did to conclude the hire was responsible. TCU hasn’t done that. https://t.co/xtjztbzD0V
Because TCU just proved by making the national title game that it has a significantly higher ceiling than Arkansas, which will never be better than fourth or fifth fiddle in the SEC West.Fre3dombear said:

Do you trust Sonny Dykes to instill a culture and safeguards to prevent a scandal like Baylor experienced? I do.

If Kendal Briles goes to TCU as the new OC, he’ll want to beat Baylor real bad every season. For obvious reasons. Briles is a terrific coach. BU fans better wish he stays with the Hogs!
— John McClain (@McClain_on_NFL) January 15, 2023
The thing I heard the most was, “why?”
— Mike Craven (@CravenMike) January 15, 2023
Well, TCU needs an OC that’ll coach QBs AND Dykes wants an Air Raid guy. Still, with money and coming off a great season, TCU doesn’t need to hire the son of its most infamous heel, according to most I spoke with. https://t.co/Ssn0GTUuCj
If Jamie Dixon ever leaves TCU could always look at Dave Bliss
— Joe Goodman (@the_joe_goodman) January 15, 2023
Jeff Lebby likely wants to beat Baylor just as bad. He's 0-2 and was held to seven points with a top-15 Ole Miss team.boognish_bear said:

I like the hire. He knows what it takes to win in the SEC & Big 12, knows Texas, is a good playcaller. Will be led by Dykes not his father. TCU has a good foundation and Briles knows how to coach QBs and offenses. We have coach Kaz from that same Baylor team. I trust Dykes & TCU. https://t.co/D8CRzeNg2G
