Some how an advocate circle jerk stirred up a few to stir it up with her, who was connected to producers and people who control college football.

You guys seem to not understand that there isn't a cure for stupid.
Brenda has issues that cannot be resolved even with the retribution tour she is on.
She is mentally ill at some level, and simply is hunting revenge at this stage.
There are legit people who are in her "industry" that deal in reform, forgiveness and reconciliation. Brenda is only about payback, paycheck, unforgiveness, retribution, then blackballing the subjects of her ire.
The saddest part of her shtick is that she seems to dole out forgiveness liberally to the corrupt big boys of football who have taken the time to grease $$$$$$$$ her wheels.
At some point even the SJW crowd will realize she is crazy.
and how do you erase an accidental double post?

The Liberal Loonies on our BOR wanted Ken Starr gone and seized their opportunity. They also wanted to "protect the brand" and not let the outside world know that Baylor students have premarital sex. Briles and the football program were just collateral damage. Can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. It is still shocking to me that not ONE man or woman on our BOR had the integrity or backbone to step up. Not one.
They have explained. The letter doesn't say he's innocent. The letter addresses only a few direct actions.BEAR RAMMAGE said:
Sooner or later Baylor is going to have to explain EXACTLY why they fired Briles.
We now know it wasn't because he had contact with anyone who reported to him directly claiming to be the victim of sexual assault or that he directly discouraged the victim of an alleged sexual assault from reporting to law enforcement or University officials.
If they fired him for INDIRECTLY discouraging an ALLEGED victim of sexual assault...then Baylor has some SERIOUS explaining to do. Specifically why any assistant coach etc. hasn't been named in any lawsuits or guilty under title IX.
If I find out that they took the word of hearsay as fact...then I'm going to be VERY ANGRY.

I will answer what A B C is later. Too early and not enough coffee.
I agree the beating he has taken from the SJWs and lazy media has been harsh and excessive. His actions and inactions certainly rise to a level of being dismissed as Baylor's HC, and possibly not deserving a HC job on the College level (emphasis added on both HC & College level)
What he is not is evil incarnate. He was lax. He shielded his players to a fault. This should not make him the poster child for sexual violence against women.
Very few don't deserve a second chance and Briles certainly deserves one. The Ti-Cats actually would have been the ideal spot. I do think both he and the Ti-Cats greatly under estimated the public on this, who are fueled by that unjustified criticism.
Will post justified criticism later.

It addressed a few issues of direct involvement.
It doesn't mean that his people didn't badly mishandle complaints.
I told Bearstruth and BaylorFans 3-4 years ago that I was not a member of the BAA but that group had every right to exists. I posted that the masses were sitting on their hands and saying "funeral parlor" and "who cares" but you should have taken the time to stand up to some bully regents running the BOR. Baylor leadership are a bunch of idiots. Looking at the facts its hard to conclude otherwise:
1. ONE person who played a single down of football convicted of rape. He was then kicked off the team
2. Baylor legal sends a letter to CAB that, basically, we know you didn't cover anything up or encourage anyone to
3. We fired not only the best coach Baylor has ever had (and I would argue, will ever have in my lifetime), but we fired a good Christian man and we ruined his life as well as the lives of many assistants
There's a reason FSU, Auburn, etc. are more respected and have a better program than us. And it states with the dumbass BOR. I was never one of the anti-BORs....I am now

Did anybody consider that maybe there actually wasn't any complaints. There's never been any proof of this there's never been any court discussion about this . these are just accusations from girls standing in line for million dollar checks that they are only entitled to if there were in fact complaints made to baylor staff and ignored

I am most saddened that this came out on the day of our first game. I thought I could come here and hear about Baylor football.
On this topic, it looks like briles was guilty of what we all thought he was. Which is who knows exactly, but definitely not trying to cover up rape. That is what papers like the Dallas daily news (that's the one right) and desperate-for-ratings-ESPN have either outright said or implied, that has taken such a toll on the reputation of the university.
This is another blow to the credibility of the current Baylor administration and regents. For this to come out on this particular day, and especially for it to come out so late after the begging of Baylor alums for information, is incompetence.
Anyways, again, none of us know what happened. It seems like we will slowly find out over the coming decade.

You And Robe Against The World
Lyrics
You and Robe against the world,
Sometimes it seems like you and Robe against the world,
When all the others turn their backs and walked away,
You can count on Robe to stay.
Remember when the circus came to town
How Robe was frightened by the clown,
Wasn't it nice to be around someone that you knew,
Someone who was big and strong and looking out for
You and Robe against the world,
Sometimes it seems like you and Robe against the world
And for all the times we've cried I always felt that
God was on your side.
And when one of you is gone,
And one of you is left to carry on,
Then remembering will have to do,
Our memories alone will get us through
Think about the days of Robe and you,
Of you and Robe against the world.
Bad things happened, publicity blew up, Briles was captain of the ship, he had to go. That part isn't particularly complicated.Kite23 said:
I still don't understand why the hell its the university's responsibility to investigate these claims. Its soo stupid. Refer the matters to the Waco PD. And here is a signed letter from Christopher Holmes, the lead consel from our side that just puts the whole narrative to waste. WHY DID we fire Briles, if nothing was his fault? We have sucky lawyers, sucky PR and sucky administration.

I'm trying to figure out still why the letter and why release now. Unless Baylor sent the letter as sort of an implied letter of recommendation to future potential employers and it was released now publicly in response to Briles having been fired after a few hours with the CFL team so everyone can see Briles should still be employable as a coach as even Baylor says it turns out he didn't do anything.
Man, ain't it the truth. So BOR supporters that missed that boat, only to have it run up on McLane.NoBSU said:

We'll see on appeal. This guy has been making blanket statements about the DAs involved, and when asked for specifics goes on rants that reveal an ignorance of how the criminal justice system works. This appeal is part of how the system works.D. C. Bear said:
