He slowly drifted to the sideline, away from pressure and eventually threw it away.

Maybe it would have been better for him to take the sack.
He goes way too far back and kills the play from the jump. That's the point. He never stands in the pocket and delivers a throw in those situations.
He took a sack last series. Maybe that's better instead of throwing out of bounds.
