Buddy scored some tickets from a drunk guy for 10$!! Wife and I live a snowballs throw from the stadium. Ran over and attended the game. Only made it to HT tonight. Was severely under dressed for this one

If UH beats BYU then CU gets in...if the Mormons win then ISU gets in.

BYU should definitely win that at home. Only issue might be if some disappointment sets in knowing a win doesn't get them into the title game.

I would like to see UH upset BYU and let CU into the title game just for the entertainment value.

Honestly, at this point, I think this league is nine deep with good teams -- and one of them (Kansas) missed a bowl game.

Obviously, Arizona State, Iowa State, BYU and Colorado make up the upper crust this year, but Baylor, TCU, Tech and Kansas State all proved to be tough outs, too.

I spent much of the early part of this season calling this a mediocre league, but I think it turned out to be much stronger than I originally thought. And the three Texas schools had a lot to do with that. All of them got better and better as the year went on.

It looked freezing on TV. Those are tough games to make it through if you don't wear enough layers. Covering high school games from the field, I've spent many a second half with frozen hands and feet, wishing I could head home early. In Texas, though, you only have a few weeks like that, and they almost all come in the playoffs.

Iowa weather is usually tolerable until the last few weeks. I usually do ok in the stands for the colder ones. My senior year of HS we played a mid November playoff game in 8 inches of snow. If I remember it was 17 degrees ish at kick. Coldest 2 hrs of my life.
