Yes Powledge is actually the DC. I think Dave has been highly supervising him since the 24 season. I agree though his recruiting abilities are out weighed by the actual game day coaching and prep.

I think technically he is the defensive coordinator but Dave calls the plays, go figure.

I think he has even been given more responsibility the last few years.
CDA's decision on how he has handled Powledge is a fireable offense in itself, imo.

Anybody else noticing that Bryson is running very upright and not delivering wood this season? I feel like him getting knocked out at the end of last season either makes him a little shy or he's being coached to avoid the helmet contact.

We're wasting an excellent offense with a deficient defense.

Needless to say, that shouldn't happen in Year 7.

If Dave is going to be our head coach next year, he has GOT to fire himself as DC and go get a proven guy with a proven scheme to handle that side of the ball.

Seriously who is coaching the corners and safeties. Is it Powledge. We have recruited some decent defensive backs and got some from the portal, so is it coaching. How do you let someone get that deep on you twice in one half. I'm talking several yards.

Before Powledge left for Oregon, he was telling our secondary to enter the portal to go earn money at some other program. That doesn't sit well with me, and I have no clue why we brought him back considering he didn't really do anything at Oregon

The SMU band is on the opposite end of the field to start their halftime show. We couldn't hear them until they were almost to midfield.

The passing game opened up a few decent runs that last drive.
Need to come out throwing again. Force SMU out of the box. Should open bigger lanes for Bryson. We need some resemblance of a run game to keep humming imo
