This is argued futily here for the last few years. UGA or Tennessee would mop the floor with any Big 12 team save maybe Tech and ISU. They just play with bigger and better talent and trying to compare them to the Big 12 is useless. They are way above this conference.

Look at Mizzou. They easily defeated a KU team who has to rank at the top of the Big 12. Mizzou is far from top of SEC.

What's your point? The comment isn't about the Big 12 being better than the SEC. There's no person in the world who knows anything about football that would describe Tennessee and Georgia as having elite D's when they both gave up 40 points. In fact, even Finebaum continues to go on and on about how he's disheartened at the regression in defense in UGA in particular compared to prior years.
