Nebraska just picked up the UNLV QB, so that's another team out of the DJ Lagway market.

IDK who the other big time visit is today...but if we land both then I think the clouds will finally start to part for most fans - Lagway's talent + legacy narrative should create a hype machine and recruiting momentum.

LSU is choosing Desmond Williams over Leavitt.
Kentucky has already moved on and signed Kenny Minchey.
There is a trend here clearly.

I imagine we will see this type of sentiment continue to grow in the donor base.
Something obviously is gonna have to change… it's just going to be a matter of how long we are in this strange middle ground.A longtime Colorado booster is expressing his frustration with funding payments to players who have no loyalty to the program.

"You give them [that] check and the guy’s gone tomorrow. To hell with that. That ain’t happening to me. No allegiance, no money.”
How many schools are…
I think you'll just see a big difference between schools that have boosters that feel this was and the ones like Tech who don't care and will buy everyone.
At some point there will not be enough fools with enough money to continue to fund a zero ROI game like NIL. Hell, you can't even write it off in most cases.
I'm just not sure how sustainable this present system is

On the other side of the coin is putting the UNT team in OSU uniforms and playing a XII schedule really going to work out with the same result? It seems that is all the new HC is doing.
Also has it been confirmed other than a tweet that LSU is the culprit behind UW's ordeal? I had also seen speculation on twitter that it might be their rival Oregon. 5-6 million for one player for a season seems unsustainable for literally everyone except 6 or so blue bloods and maybe Cody Campbell if his priorities in life remain rather foolish.

Leavitt is extremely overrated. I e said that from the get go. Not surprised to see teams pass on him. That said Tech spending 5 million on Sorsby is hilarious. He's not good enough to win them games in the playoffs next year

Since this thread was created to talk about our portal activity, will our QB next season be good enough to win us games in regular season play?

He may be overrated for a guy who single-handily kicked the pig shyte out of us this season?

I never said it was a Good Loss or that we Deserved to win, just pointed out that it was in no way an ass kicking for anyone but those who take the Ricky Bobby approach of "if you ain't first you're last"...
