It hasn't been good. While we've snagged two or three players that I would call 'decent', the rest have been guys that were hurt for like an entire season and only have a few snaps of playing time, or dudes that were alright starters in the Sunbelt that we're hoping are going to turn into something behind our offensive line coach that was a basically an intern last year. When we struggle to beat Louisiana Tech, people will get it

I'm of the camp that thinks Bryson got messed up bad since the LSU game. And I'm not sure he's going to be able to be healthy long moving forward. I feel bad for the guy but he reminds me of Brewer. Probably needs to hang it up sooner than later, but he has to get as much dough as he can in the meantime

In 2024, the battering ram Dawson Pendergrass was always available to share the load with Bryson. Even in 2024, Bryson sometimes came off the field looking like he was in discomfort. He has never appeared to be a back who can handle a big load for an extended period of time. I was interested to see what impact Dawson's return would have on Bryson's productivity next year but I'm not surprised if the Baylor decision was they couldn't afford to pay him big money.

Also, the added weight experiment for Dawson should be long over.

It's beyond dumb. As a big college football fan it's so damn disappointing what's become of the game.

Unfortunately....revenue and ratings continue to go up... so I don't really see any incentive for them to fix the issues.
