BAYLOR 2022 RECRUITING COMMITMENT LIST
The 6-foot-3, 315-pounder earned a Baylor offer immediately following a camp in Waco at the beginning of the month. He impressed the staff with his versatility on the defensive line but especially with his upside as a nose tackle in Dave Aranda’s 3-4 defensive scheme.
His relationship with Brian Nance, Eric Mateos, and Vince Guinta even before offering played a major role in him shutting down his recruitment early. It also helped that he called Baylor his “dream school” back in January and it stayed that was all the way till he was offered and eventually committed.
Sledge chose Baylor over Purdue, Indiana, SMU, West Virginia, and Kansas State along with 20 other schools.
