There's no reason this team should be worse than last year's, but it is. There's more talent on this roster and the metrics like this group better. But this team stinks out loud 15 minutes of every game.

The problem is spotting one of the best defensive teams in the conference a significant lead.

This team doesn't play well in high-leverage situations. This start has all but guaranteed we'll be in another tight one late.

I have read and heard excuses for weeks now.

After the 2 losses to K State and Texas we had a bye before the HOME TCU game, and we stunk up the place on defense.

I'm with you. But you have to start questioning the fortitude of a team that comes out flat off a three-game losing streak.

This team is just soft. That's all there is to it.

Then hits his first 3.

All because his 102 yr old grandfather died this week.

Shooting starting to even out. We started 3 for 10 (30%) and are now 8 for 17 (47%), while UCF started 7 for 9 (78%) and are now 10 for 19 (53%). So since the first break we have been 5 for 7 while UCF went 3 for 10.

If the Bears can keep that up, we might even have a lead by halftime.

I'm calling it now. The Timberlake kid from Kansas who was brought in as a 3 point shooting specialist and has completely disappointed them all year by shooting 26% will go 10-11 from 3 against us.
