An Athletic director should not be constantly in from of the camera. His job is administrative. It is time for him to learn that lesson and remove himself from the sidelines and get behind the scenes where administrators belong.
Rhoades isn't constantly in front of the camera. I can't recall him ever doing anything even remotely like this.
Programs put in quiet requests and complaints about refereeing all the time. And yet the Big 12's reffing is as bad as it's ever been. He issued a public protest after what was one of the worst refereeing jobs of all time, while being given no answers nor responses by the offending refs after the game. Rhoades was also protecting his future HOF head coach.
They threw out one of the most ref-friendly coaches in America which massively tilted the game and almost seriously dented Baylor's conference title chances over absolutely nothing. When refs start reaching into your bag like that and the conference is doing nothing, I don't blame Rhoades one iota for his action.
