I agree. As to the Aranda thing. I'm not sure how they were scooped based on chatter in Waco and just reading the tea leaves. Things weren't looking like a firing was coming at that time. It was looking like a complet staff overhaul was coming which is what happened.

You're 100% correct. They also said that there was no chance Novosad would decommit. There are folks on the premium board that would believe anything the staff told them. As you mentioned, the truth is that their inside info is mostly guesswork. I think they had more connections to the program in the Briles days, but not so much nowadays.

And I'm not trying to turn this into a bashing of this site or its owners. They are building a business, it seems to be going well, and that's great.

I'm a freeloader on that business. Hopefully I contribute in some small way by engaging people in interesting discussions. But the one thing the paid side does really well (to the best of my knowledge) is give insight on recruiting. I don't care about recruiting news. Just tell me who has actually signed and I'll start caring about them at that point. Everything else is just fluff. Especially if you're not giving insider info on things like coaching searches or player departures.

The plane is on the move and not headed to Waco again.

Baylor Men's Basketball head coach Scott Drew has rejected an offer from the University of Kentucky to take over the Wildcats' basketball program, SicEm365's Ashley Hodge has learned. Hodge made the prediction that Drew would remain in Waco late on Wednesday evening.

Why would it? He's coming for one year to play for Drew. He would have gone to Kentucky if Drew had left.
