She is extremely and love that she came to baylor. She loves it here. Looks like she got her blessing anyways. Their loss BU blessing . She is on the #1 team in the nation , get mentored by one of the great post in Baylor history, getting coached be the coach of the year, she is about to play in her first sweet sixteen while Collier is sitting at home. Looks like she is winning to me !!

Honestly I hope Queen starts at the five because I love having Cox at the four because she is so versatile.

Totally agree!

Any thoughts on the other questions?

Yes , being that KA told Queen to not commit yet because Collier was coming... yes I think queen would have a problem with that.
Excellent point!

If Kim is looking for a grad post player it will be for the upcoming season. Gusters is class of 2020.

Thx. Got my classes out of order.

Very true I agree. I Texas is a decent program with great players but they just never hit their full potential.

I seen a interview that kinda hinted Kim might look for a grad post player.
Some body post it if you find it.

"But not matter what happens over the next few weeks, Jackson's impact will resonate long after she leaves Waco. After the guard's success this year, Mulkey said she plans to keep one scholarship available each year for a graduate transfer.

"It's not going to bother me if everybody's going to say Baylor's going to be the graduate transfer university now in women's basketball," Mulkey said. "And I think I'd have to give credit to Chloe."

I think Cox could be just as versatile at the 5 position, kinda like what Napheesa Collier does for Uconn. I just don't see how you keep Smith out of the starting lineup next season. With her and Cox in the two post positions we could really stretch out the defense and not have to worry much about the paint being really packed in. That could also open things up for guards to drive in or even post up on opposing guards.

So Queen didn't want us at first.hmmmm

And Collier didn't want Texas at first. Didn't she decommit from UConn to be close to an ailing father in Houston area after the flooding? Or am I confusing her with someone else?

This is great strategy. Pick up a baller with with a multi year college game resume that fits a need.

I have not been impressed with Collier's play at all. Her offense is pitiful and I do not see how she was considered in any of the rankings as a better player than Williams.

Hell I wish all 3 of them could start lol .. but I do think Nalyssa and moon will get the 2 empty starting spots next year.

Rumor has it that Westbrook will be headed to UCONN and will be eligible as soon as she gets there.

Who's your starting point guard? I don't see it being Moon. Juicy, maybe? I'm not going to say that couldn't happen.

If HSG's knee gets better, I could see her as the starting PG. Otherwise, it could be a position of need for a one-year transfer. I'd imagine we'd take one if a true PG becomes available. Hopefully, we have one or two on the way in 2020.

Also, as far as starters are concerned, I'd like to see how DeCosta develops. Queen could take a starting spot too. Seems like there will be a number of players rotating in and the starters will be the ones who fit best.

I'm high on Moon too, and I think she'll be an important player on next year's team. Just not sure she's going to grab a starting spot with the other players we have.

I think Taja Cole out of University of Georgia may be looking to transfer as a graduate student. She would be a good fill in at point guard.

An intriguing thought to a certain extent would be getting a transfer release for Nancy Mulkey, the 6-9 post player who transferred out of Oklahoma to go to Rice, ended up being their star player this year, and helped them put together one of the best years that women's basketball program has ever had. I don't know what her status is as far as eligibility but I do know that she was initially recruited by Baylor and University of Texas before signing with Oklahoma. No doubt this would be a long shot but I'm wondering if skilled up has heard anything about a potential post-transfer such as Mulkey or other.

I watched their game in the playoffs and she was a difference maker both on offense and defense. She has improved since her high school days. It is not very likely that players will transfer twice once they are in college. They are given 5 years to complete four so unless they were eligible immediately ( transfer to ND ) they would generally lose one year.

@Raoul_000 WBB: Stanford senior Marta Sniezek (5-8 point guard, McLean, VA) has her name in the transfer portal, presumably as a grad transfer

Hey, 74Bear. How does one find out who is in the transfer portal?
74Bear
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Not sure how you get into the portal itself but here is a good source. Note it is several pages long.

I've never been less interested in someone than I am of Mulkey. She is tall, slow and weak. Her game in the NCAAs was humorous. She was getting pushed around and would be a non-factor in the Bog 12. She wanted to come to Bqylor and settled at OU when Baylor wasn't interested. Thank you, next!

I was shocked until I got past your first sentence and realized it was about Nancy not Kim.
