I just got sick to my stomach.

it's tough to beat destiny.... Nats had about 50 weak contacts that ended up being hits while Houston kept hitting the ball hard right at them....
I don't know what the percentage of HRs on that pitch Will Smith threw Kendrick but it had to be single digits.... maybe less than 1.... and yet it happened
and as I type this, Correa gets run up on a pitch 6 inches off the plate inside

Not a good night for the umpire.

Couldn't win one stinking game at home out of four tries this series. Unbelievable.

It's bad enough losing at home, but i hate to see the wheels fall off like this.
And we're losing Cole after this season, not sure how we build next year's rotation.
The struggle against Tampa Bay was a warning we had problems, and the Nationals were obviously paying attention. Not knocking the Astros, they played great all season but just ran into some bad luck, a better team and leaving men on base came back again to hurt us.

It's their year, fellas.
An American League pennant is not a bad consolation prize.
Still wish the Astros were in the National League. Still difficult to have split allegiance.

Beating the Yankees is always a good thing.

I changed my mind. The Astros should keep Carlos.

This should be another exciting postseason run for Houston. A chance to reach 6 straight ALCSes, 4 World Series appearances, and 2 World Series Championships, all in a 6-season span. The Golden Age of Astros baseball has been incredible to experience as a fan. And thanks to the Dodgers giving us Yordan Alvarez, the Golden Age may just last a little longer.
Go Stros.
Everything about this video is perfect.

The hit. The crowd. The police officer celebrating. Pettis with his arms in the air. Sad Mariners. Orbit with the flag. The Astros photog and video crew. The players going nuts. Dusty's hug. pic.twitter.com/qnLIdAn4sD
Apparently a lot at Baylor share your view as there is absolutely zero discussion of the Astros accomplishments last night, this season, etc.RD2WINAGNBEAR86 said:
I am not a huge MLB fan, but I think that Houston vs. Seattle playoff game today was the best finish to a game I have ever seen. WOW!!!
