It's been a long time since we've really been able to watch Jimmy play a full round. He should get lots of coverage today if he stays up with the pace.
I think if he can at least manage a -3 today he will put himself in great shape headed to tomorrow.

I saw some stat that only 2 of the last 12 players that had the 54 hole lead at RBC went on to win. So if he ends up a couple of shots back after today it may not be all bad.

Terribly unlucky break losing that ball in the tree on the par 5 15th; overall hasn't played bad just a few missed opportunities for birdies (including 18).

Not his best today....but not a total disaster. Had a good chance for birdie on 18 to get back to even on the day....but just nicked the edge of the cup.
He's 3 back on a course known for come from behind winners in the final round. But it's gonna be a tall order getting past Fitzpatrick, Cantlay, Spieth, and Scheffler.
It's just encouraging to see him being competitive with some of the game's best.

Jimmy now back to even on the day and trails the leaders by 5 strokes with 7 holes to go. Hopefully he can get a couple of birdies and score a Top 10 which will be a nice FEDEx Cup points boost.....and a nice payday

No, not even close. He's had 5 top 10's since 2018 including a T2nd at the Players Championship. He probably made $750,000 or more for that.KOKQB70 said:

Zurich Classic of New Orleans this week, a 2 man team event. Jimmy's partner is D.A. Points, 1st round on Thurs they play four ball (best ball).

Good start for Team Walker today; they shot 8 under which is tied 9th, 4 teams tied for the lead at 10 under.

Alternate shot today, much tougher to score. A good solid 3 or 4 under should keep them right in the mix.

Cantlay/Schauffle were amazing this morning, 9 under in alt shot. Conditions right now after the rain delay are absolutely perfect, hope Jimmy and partner can take advantage.

The PGA Tour heads to Mexico this week. This field is super weak. I think there are only 2 players from the Top 50 playing. Great opportunity for Jimmy to compete.

Jimmy is -1 so far through 10 holes. I heard commentators say that scoring on this course is typically easier in the AM when the winds are down. If Jimmy can get to -2 or -3 I think he will have himself in good shape heading into tomorrow.
