JW birdies the first hole and barely misses an 8' birdie putt on hole 2 to settle for par. Looks sharp early.
Jimmy puts his approach on 8 to within 13 inches of the cup. He's now -2 and T5.

JW is through 14 holes so far and is -4 for the touney and T27 currently.
Projected cut is sitting at -2 right now. Looks like he will be playing this weekend barring a blowup hole.
A couple more birdies on the last 4 would be nice.

JW starting today at -8 and tied for 18th. He's too far back to contend....but hopefully can have a nice finish and place Top 25 are better.
I'm not sure what his PGA card status is for next year. I know those that finish this Fall season Top 125 maintain their cards.
