The question was what Trump policies I disagreed. His solution to illegal immigration was to build a wall. He said Mexico would pay for it. He did not finish his project and americans paid for it. Are my sources wrong?

Agree with you here, Redneck. Trump loves him some tariffs. He still doesn't realize that tariffs are a tax on American citizens and companies, - not the targeted offending country. Almost always the cost is passed on to the American consumer and we all pay more.
Nobody is forcing anyone to buy worthless Chinese crap! Spend a few extra dollars and buy American made products.
I am sure you and most Americans carefully look at each label on every trip to Wal-Mart and make sure you fill your shopping cart with only American made products. Especially in this high inflation environment.

Just because I am a strong believer in free trade does not make me a "Globalist". Tariffs create complacency, lower quality, and higher prices. If you make a conscious effort not to buy products from China, Mexico, or whoever, good for you. Just don't force the rest of us pay more because you insist on wearing red, white, and blue underwear.
For the record, America cannot produce everything it consumes. Imported products must come from somewhere. And you need to see tariffs for what they are,- which is a tax on the American people.
