Curious... I havent heard of wall street donors throwing a fundraising event for Trump.

Oh right Haley is a career politician whose entire net worth is literally depend upon pushing policies that are direct opposed to the interest of middle class American tax payers.

they are throwing money at Haley and Biden. Biden was a huge wallstreet recipient in. 2020.

The next president of the US will be either:

Trump
RFK
Haley
Biden/Harris or whoever the dems replace them with.

Trump is poison.

First: He is one of the leaders that got us to this point. Already the USA is beginning to be paralyzed because so much money is needed to pay interest on the national debt. The annual debt interest went from about $600 billion to near $1 trillion this last year. There will be no operational funds if the problem is not addressed now.

Second: Trump alienates people on his staff so that I believe he will have a difficult time staffing a quality cabinet.

Third: Trump encouraged citizens to use unproven drugs during COVID 19.

He is poison.

Now that's funny. Wall Street has its tenacles deeper into Trump than any President in recent history.

Edit: AtlBear beat me to it, and that's only a small part of Trump's Wall St story.

First: One of? Since 2000 how many leaders can you name that haven't raised our debt? Trump is one man. When he tried to reduce the size and scope of government in the first two years of his term, he was betrayed by John McCain. I agree he should take a more aggressive approach to reducing the deficit if he wins another term. He won't have to worry about re-election this time so that should make it easier.

Second: At least he is in control of his own faculties and isn't answering to wall street donors. His staff works for him, the President of the United States. The President doesn't work for the uniparty bureaucrats... well unless you are Joe Biden and don't even know what day of the week it is.

Third: Blaming Trump for COVID is extremely uncharitable. His mistake was trusting the "experts" guys like Fauci who we later came to find out sent federal funds to the lab in Wuhan when Obama was President and was a co-developer of COVID.

third meh, there are many that benifited from those unproven drugs.

I personally was prescribed ivermectin by my MD and the results in 24 hours were solid. I was less than 24 hours into loss of taste and smell and within 12 hours of taking it, my smell and taste were returning plus the pain deep behind where my nose and eyes come together vanished.

Refinanced banks loans are not the same as campaign contributions from wall street hedge funds. To secure those loans, Trump is leveraging his own assets i.e his real estate properties. Something of tangible value.

What is Nicki Haley providing to secure money from wall street donors?

The Trump critiques in this thread are so incredibly weak.

They all pale in comparison to Biden admin literally tearing down our borders and allowing every 3rd world criminal to come in and organize retail theft rings in every major city in America. Crime is up even with most major cities refusing to report and/or prosecute most crimes!

Or Haley wanting to increase defense spending and foreign aid which dwarfs all other domestic spending. Haley wants us to go to war with Iran, Russia, and China all at the same time!

I seriously question the sanity of democrats and never-Trumpers.

I don't want to derail the thread, but "Trump told people to take bleach and eat horse paste" was right up there with "Muslim ban" and "both sides" in terms of intentional, anti-Trump disinformation. Both drugs were well established, cheap generics with long track records of success. There was literally no reason no to try them. I mean we told people to wear "Sexy Mama" masks from Walmart ...

At least pretend like you understand what happened in his debt restructure. Post COVID commercial real estate and hotels during rate hikes, default increases, and price declines. It isn't that he had assets to leverage, it's the suspect values he got at the time, especially with limited options as some lenders wouldn't touch him due to indictments. What favors do you think he owes there?

And Nikki Haley, Joe Biden, and Donald Trump offer Wall St the same thing. Access to power. And they all collect on it.

Trump is the most vetted man in America today. If he was doing anything truly heinous and nefarious it would be plastered all over every news station and online publication and there would be a couple dozen lawsuits. They are already using summary judgements to convict and violating his 6th amendment rights for things that never happened like sexual assault, an insurrection, and tax fraud.

Meanwhile Joe Biden is the most clandestine man in America. We all know he has received foreign bribes via his crackhead son and the media and FBI provide cover for him.

In 2022 the biggest spend was SS. But defense spending tied Medicare for 2nd place.

What does Biden's massive failure at President have to do with Trump or Haley? Biden sucking does not make Trump or Haley better candidates. Whoever wins the nomination will have the same benefit of running against Biden's record.

All true, but still is irrelevant to picking a GOP nominee. Biden sucking doesn't make Trump better. It is not a reason to vote for Trump over Haley. It will be relevant in the fall, but whoever is the GOP nominee will run on that, it is not specific to Trump.

He's literally in the middle of a civil fraud trial in New York for overvaluing assets. Unlike the idiot Atlanta prosecutor, this one actually has some teeth. Fortunately for Trump it's a civil and not criminal fraud case.

Which to my earlier point is how did he get favorable value terms and the ability to pull out $300 million in cash whilst under investigation for this, and while many lenders were not participating because of it?

These are as fair questions to be asked as what is Haley's relationship with the defense industry. Frankly they're even more fair as one is pure personal gain vs an industry that provides services and jobs for the U.S.

Also if you believe these are accurate and you pin all blame to Trump...you're going to have a MASSIVE list to blame Biden for which is FAR WORSE than anything you think Trump failed it.

I am sure all your sources are accurate and all mine are wrong. I didnt vote for Biden, nor any other democrat. I have nothing to come clean about.

The question was what Trump policies I disagreed. His solution to illegal immigration was to build a wall. He said Mexico would pay for it. He did not finish his project and americans paid for it. Are my sources wrong?

The Trump administration imposed nearly $80 billion worth of new taxes on Americans by levying tariffs on thousands of products valued at approximately $380 billion in 2018 and 2019, amounting to one of the largest tax increases in decades.

Agree with you here, Redneck. Trump loves him some tariffs. He still doesn't realize that tariffs are a tax on American citizens and companies, - not the targeted offending country. Almost always the cost is passed on to the American consumer and we all pay more.

Building a wall that Mexico pays for. Actually we wound up with half a wall that Americans paid 100% for. Some people actually believed him

Because Democrats blocked it and GOP is weak.

National debt actually increased despite his bold and foolish brags about how he would reduce and eliminate it.

Democrats in congress controlled spending during his term. Its their fault.

His policy of tariffs only served as a tax against Americans and increasd Chinas trading power. We wound up with fewer factory and factory workers when Trump left than when he started.

It did the opposite.

Trump added to the federal rate at nearly twice the speed of any democratic president in 50 years.

Rates were historically low.

For two months, the president carefully crafted not only a lie, but a vast untruth surrounding election fraud. He spread this false narrative to tens of millions of his supporters. I am shocked so many fell for it and even more shocked that men I know as intelligent fell for it. Some still cling to it.

There was election fraud. The process isn't failproof when it should be.

He's not far right or a nationalist.
You got the facts wrong. You need to stop listening to your news sources because they outright lie.

Also if you believe these are accurate and you pin all blame to Trump...you're going to have a MASSIVE list to blame Biden for which is FAR WORSE than anything you think Trump failed it.

Just come clean about your left leaning political biases already.

Tarifs are just a tax on Americans to support unions.
Where am i wrong?

Agree with you here, Redneck. Trump loves him some tariffs. He still doesn't realize that tariffs are a tax on American citizens and companies, - not the targeted offending country. Almost always the cost is passed on to the American consumer and we all pay more.

Well you shouldn't. Tariffs protect American manufacturers and protect made-in-America products.

For example, when Trump was president Trudeau placed a tariff on American dairy so Wisconsin dairy farmers couldn't compete w/ Canadian dairy. If Trump hadn't threatened to retaliate with reciprocal tariffs on Canadian dairy, American dairy farmers would have lost market share and jobs bcs they are now playing in an unfair market.

China not only places heavier taxes on foreign companies, they reserve the right to steal their IPs. Not to mention creating COVID floating spy balloons over the continental US. If we place more tariffs on Chinese products to sanction them I am completely fine with that. Nobody is forcing anyone to buy worthless Chinese crap! Spend a few extra dollars and buy American made products.

Oh right Haley is a career politician whose entire net worth is literally depend upon pushing policies that are direct opposed to the interest of middle class American tax payers.

This article is a non sequitur.

Refinanced banks loans are not the same as campaign contributions from wall street hedge funds. To secure those loans, Trump is leveraging his own assets i.e his real estate properties. Something of tangible value.

What is Nicki Haley providing to secure money from wall street donors?

Isn't that pretty much what's happening now?

Yes. And it's up to the individual to decide if there is merit to those lawsuits or if they are politically motivated in which case the prosecutor and judge giving thr summary judgements should be immediately disbarred.

His solution was detaining illegals and the remain in Mexico policy.

Sending a modest bribe to Mexico and Central American countries so that they enforce their own immigration policies is cheaper than allowing criminals to invade the border and start up retail theft chains in every major city in the country....

You guys talk about companies passing the cost back onto American consumers... what do you think shoplifting/retail theft does? The insurance company cant keep up and it forces the company to raise prices.

Trudeau removed the tariffs on American dairy allowing American dairy to share a fair market with Canadian dairy in Canada. In the end Trump never had to use reciprocal tariffs.

If we allow US diary and farmers in general to get bullied by other countries you either lose more tax dollars to farm subsidies or lose control of your food supply. Take your pick.

My dad was a "buy American car" kinda guy. He made fun of my second car, aTriumph Spitfire. Back in the 80's he inherited a Toyota truck and fell in love with it. He found it cheaper, more reliable and more efficient. He never went back.

He got over the idea of supporting over paid union workers and started buying what was best for himself and his family.

I am a free market kind of guy. You can support over paid union workers if you want.

Or you find better ways to grow or produce your product in order to be able to compete in a world market. Years ago you used to see products advertised as "union made". You dont see that very often now days because to most people it means higher prices and lower quality.

Just because I am a strong believer in free trade does not make me a "Globalist". Tariffs create complacency, lower quality, and higher prices. If you make a conscious effort not to buy products from China, Mexico, or whoever, good for you. Just don't force the rest of us pay more because you insist on wearing red, white, and blue underwear.

For the record, America cannot produce everything it consumes. Imported products must come from somewhere. And you need to see tariffs for what they are,- which is a tax on the American people.
