I didnt realize that you could only charge a small portion of the EVs out there. A lot of them will not accept the same charging "nozzles"? that are on some of the newer vehicles.

I guess it's taken so long to build them, the technology has changed.

I'm waiting to get one until they can charge an EV with a USB...

Wonder where all that money went...

Biden Spends $7.5 Billion for 7 EV Charging Stations

Biden's $7.5 billion EV charging stations program, which promised half a million installations, still has over 499,990 to go after three years. President Biden signed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law in November 2021, allocating $7.5 billion for electric vehicle charging, of which $5 billion is dedicated to building a network of chargers along major highways, called the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program. Just seven electric-vehicle charging stations have begun operating with that $5-billion funding, marking "pathetic" progress, as automakers and others indicate that drastically expanding EV-charging stations is crucial to the wide deployment of electric vehicles, which is part of Biden's climate change program. The seven EV-charging stations deployed to date consist of a few dozen total charging ports.

I read somewhere that indictments from what they have found are about to come out. Will there be enough federal courtrooms for all that activity?
Depends on how many corrupt judges preside over them.

Can they place them in some "good" districts where the judges aren't DemoNazis?

A Houston man who was recently pardoned by President Donald Trump for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection has been arrested on an outstanding child sex crimes charge.

Andrew Taake, 36, was taken into custody on Thursday after spending more than two weeks as a fugitive, the Harris County District Attorney's Office said. He had previously been charged with online solicitation of a minor stemming from a 2016 incident in which he allegedly sent sexually explicit messages to an undercover law enforcement officer who was posing as a 15-year-old girl.

So he knew it was coming. Might have been in the White House trying to get a pardon!

A federal judge on Friday said he would not immediately block the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, from accessing systems at the Labor Department.
U.S. District Judge John Bates said he had concerns about DOGE but that the labor unions who sued to block their access to the systems have not yet provided evidence of any legal injury.
"Although the court harbors concerns about defendants' alleged conduct, it must deny plaintiffs' motion at this time," Bates wrote.

NATO doesn't have much of a future. The current governments of the UK, France, and Germany are not really our allies in any meaningful sense. Turkey and Greece hate each other. It is an unstable relic of a world long gone.

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is made up of 32 member countries, known as NATO Allies. These countries are:
  • Founding members
Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and the United States
  • Later members
Greece, Turkey (1952); West Germany (1955); Spain (1982); Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland (1999); Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia (2004); Albania, Croatia (2009); Montenegro (2017); North Macedonia (2020); Finland (2023); Sweden (2024)
NATO was created in 1949 to provide collective security against the Soviet Union. The member countries are sovereign states that work together to discuss security and political issues.

But they are not doing that very well. Look for Trump/Musk to change things up a bit here

That's the "reason", but I'm wondering what the real reason is. The European car industry is basically Stellantis, Volkswagen and its Porsche/Audi subsidiary, BMW, and Mercedes. All are struggling, and this won't help them.

German elections are coming up and it is no secret how much Brussels hates the Afd.
