Cornyn has less "integrity and character" than a street prostitute.

I don't like Paxton, but Cornyn has been a lying hypocrite for decades.

Then, Paxton would have less than the pimp.

Sorry for you that your buddy Talarico turned out to be another empty suit, like Beto before him.

Cornyn wasn't impeached or indicted as AG or as Senator. I voted for Cornyn and character/integrity. You know, the things Christian Nationalists can't comprehend.

So if someone plays the politicians long enough, kisses enough butts, you just ignore whether or not they are screwing the voters.

I guess you don't apply that philosophy to Trump or Paxton.

Talarico would screw more voters in his first term than Paxton and Trump together have done in total.

I'm not a fan of Talarico. However, Paxton and Trump have a record of corruption, and screwing people over. I thought you would give Talarico credit for being a "Christian." Trump isn't a Christian, and Paxton doesn't behave like anything I was taught were Christian qualities. I guess you follow Christ when it is convenient.

I follow the Christ in Scripture. Talarico believes in a Jesus he can use as a puppet for his politics.

You, from what I can see, lean towards Talarico's puppet, so your position is not a surprise.

You have to be kidding. You follow Trump and he is a master at using/duping Christians for his politics. Paxton is following suit. Again, I'm not for Talarico, but he conducts himself in a Christlike manner. Neither Trump nor Paxton have any qualities of character that I was raised to believe were Christlike.

The possibility of Low T Jimmy winning will result in a larger turnout of real Texans: those of us who know how many sexes there are, what a woman is, who God the Father is (& the Son), and those of us who want to keep the borders closed, taxes down, America safe, etc. In other words, patriots.

Talarico has zero chance of winning. Zero.

Why?

1) Rs assuming they will win and not putting in the effort died after the 2018 election (and even in that election won by 2.5%). The R voter registration, early voting, and Get Out the Vote modernization which has occurred since 2020 is huge.

2) The average MOV in all statewide races since 2018 is substantial. Low water mark is 5.5% MOV. Substantially higher MOV in off year election of 2022 (10.5% or higher).

3) Rs have done a solid job of painting Talarico as an Out of Step whack-job to the center voters. The opposition research library on Talarico is huge. By mid August expect a new Cringe Video of Talarico comments to drop weekly.

4) On Election Day, the DFW and East Texas portions of the African American D establishment will pay Talarico back for his comments about Allred and Crockett.

5) Talarico can't Out Outsider Paxton. Also Country Club Rs may despise Paxton but they are terrified by Talarico's leftist views.

6) The casual voters simply won't walk past the Six Genders, Vegan Campaign, etc. comments. Quirky is OK, weird and creepy is not OK.

7) Talarico will be unable to shed his Beta Male image.

Well hello again, and as expected you continue to post like Ted Kennedy on a bender, JR.

I know the idea of voting for someone because of policy preferences is one you struggle with, and you seem to have memory issues about the moral limits of some of our past Presidents. Even Reagan was a divorced man who once accidentally raised the Soviet's alert level with a joke.

I get it, you hate Trump and cannot abide that he is President. You ignore everything I have written before about not liking him personally, and in fact never voted for Trump in a primary, only the General election because the Democrat was clearly worse. And unlike some, I don't pretend there is virtue in not voting.

You have absolutely zero standing to pretend you can speak for who actually is a Christian.

I did not mention it because it's unnecessary: we have a peace deal which is essentially what Trump was demanding all along. The MoU that all the pundits said didn't exist has been released confirming pretty much everything Trump said about it. The Strait of Hormuz is opening and traffic is returning to normal. Oil & gas prices are going down, soon below $3 per gallon in Texas (the fascists really mess up the national avg with their insane policies in blue states) and the economy is already improving. Just as Trump said it would. By November, we could be experiencing a huge boom and voters will know it's because of Trump's policies and all the Dems will look even more stupid than they do.

Voters have no reason to vote for perverts & freaks like Talarico. The GOP will win big in Texas and throughout the south and other parts of the country. The GOP will retain both houses of Congress and could very well gain seats in both houses. The Dems will help them win by continuing to say and go stupid things.

We will soon have our 250th birthday party and patriots will enjoy it immensely. So will most of the World Cup tourists who are already discovering how great America is and love it (see the other thread). Meanwhile, the fascists continue to be as negative and anti-American as they have been for decades.

WTH does he mean "work with"? The bill making Juneteenth a federal/national holiday was a sentence long and had 60 co-sponsors in the senate.

Also She-Jack was in the House... in a different party... And the corresponding house bill had over 170 co-sponsors in the House.

Cringeworthy., but somehow better than who beat him in the primary.

I have made this very clear many, many times. My disdain for Trump is 1 thing and 1 thing only. He is a Disaster for the US. His, Lying, cheating, bullying, name calling, unqulification, convicted of sexual assault. Twice impeached, Grifting Family like the world has never seen. Alienated our Allies and friends the was indignant the would bail his ass out when he didn't bother to give them a heads up, our place in the world is damaged forever. Those are the ingredients that constitutes why I think Trump is horrible for the US. I think I have been proven right on that score. We are a effing mess.

Good morning again, puppet of malice. I see you have forgotten how these things work.

Every so often, a year sometimes, two years in the case of Congress and four years in the case of the office of the President, we Americans have an election. As is our custom, the elections are expensive, noisy and frankly annoying in many ways, but whoever gets elected is the valid authority in that office. Trump won the election in 2016, lost in 2020, then won in 2024. So it happens that as much as you hate him, Donald Trump is the duly-elected President of the United States.

Now that same Constitution that tells us Trump is actually the President of the United States, grants him in that role the powers of Commander in Chief of our military.

All your taunts, insults, slander, observations, comments, et cetera ad nauseum do not in any way detract from that authority.

Further, your inability to post a criticism without insults or spite does not help your credibility.

No American with an IQ north of 70 cares about your opinion. You disqualify yourself with almost every post you spew.

No, I neither like nor respect Paxton. But it's either putting a Republican or a Democrat in that Senate seat, and sir that still impacts this nation.
