Harrison, in response to your statement "That's why the more interesting question is the tribal reaction of the LWNJs." I agree; however, documenting the responses of the far left and far right could be excellent material to further reinforce my findings.

No 100% sure where you are going, but I suspect that you are referring to your comment about the perception and understanding of reality and truth. I think that is less findings and more stating the obvious. I am sure that we have all experienced talking to someone who seems to be living in an alternate reality. It is a truly fascinating subject - wish I had some sort of test to glean whether these folks truly believe Bizarro World is real or it is more posturing because it fits their particular political motive in the moment.

I think it is exacerbated by a couple of things:
- Post-Enlightenment philosophy has really pushed against objective truth and sought to redefine truth not as facts but as feelings; some people actually think whatever they feel is the truth regardless of reality
- During the past decades, schools are really emphasizes emotional, feeling and de-emphasized knowledge; so a lot of people are just ignorant and un-educated
- Not sure it has always been this way, but at least since Reagan the American left-wing increasingly relies on Orwellian style emotional hyperbole over policy specifics; by definition this type of persuasive techniques must separate itself from facts and objective truth

It could be its own thread. And just to be clear, I am being literal. I am not talking about people who have a different interpretation of this tragedy, for example. I am talking about those people that think the lady was just driving her kid to school and happened upon an ICE raid and was just trying to go back home when she was murdered for no reason.

Anti-ice protesters are apparently not very good fighters. Old boy in the red jacket got himself knocked out twice.

Odd the anti-democracy thugs are attacking journalists. These LWNJs always always resort to violence and bullying: https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/world/independent-journalist-nick-sortor-assaulted-by-mob-outside-minneapolis-federal-building-watch/ar-AA1U1eAs

Why shouldn't our law enforcement be enforcing our bipartisanship immigration laws?

Democracy! Is at stake.

It's not the enforcement . It's the tactics. They flew a helicopter over a building in Chicago at 2AM. They zipped tied everyone including 4 year olds forcing them to prove their citizenship. (Which most were)

They're driving down the streets, masked in unmarked vehicles without any proof of who they are and grabbing people at random.

They're attacking communities. It was a matter of time before a tragedy happened.

100%.

The sad thing is that I thing their bosses want the tragedies as part of their divide and conquer worldview.

That's the key point. From their point of view, incidents like this are a feature of reckless enforcement, not a bug.

Were you this outraged when Ashli Babbitt got shot?

How is this any different?

If this was the FBI killing people over anti-Israel demonstrations or the IRS invading someone's home and shooting them dead bcs they didnt pay taxes to a corrupt government who doesnt represent them... I'd agree with the reactionary sentiment to fight to the death.

Instead, this is a dumb ***** was fighting ICE over the deportation of Somali con-artists who have stolen billions from the American tax payer.

Learn to choose your battles.

What is different is that the woman was shot trying to leave while Babbit was shot trying to enter.

Guess what - if you are being detained or given an order by a law-enforcement officer, you aren't allowed to simply ignore it and "leave" and you certainly aren't allowed to willfully to drive a vehicle at a law enforcement officer regardless of the speed of the vehicle. And it's just as much breaking the law as trying to forcefully enter a restricted building, facility, or area.

I didn't say she shouldn't be arrested.

Regular police deal with difficult people thousands of times a day, every day. Incidents like yesterday are exceedingly rare, becuase regular police are good at deescalating. ICE is the opposite. If you do not immediately obey the masked, ambiguously marked "law enforcement" they immediately ratchet up the intimidation. It is poor policing and it leads to results like yesterday.

Where do you think the woman was looking when she depressed the accelerator? I think she was looking at the guy to her immediate left trying to force his way into her car. Decent chance she never even saw the shooter, let alone "aimed at him."

Then she is even more of an idiot. You do not accelerate without looking in front of you. You don't drive but look to the side. That is car driving 101.

As to ICE not deescalating things that is because the paid agitators they are dealing with will not listen to reason or lawful commands.

ICE casues her to panic, shoots her, and then says-hey don't panic. Great logic. Professional law enforcement does not work that way. De-escalate first.

She should have been cited for a traffic violation and maybe arrested for evading arrest if she did not stop after moving her car. Shooting her was ridiculous.

Paid agitators? Thanks George Wallace.

I am kind of with Robert on this one, and think the agent probably could have avoided shooting her (though I wasn't in his shoes with his vantage point).

But let's be clear about who this lady was and what she was doing. She is a social justice warrior who was deliberately in the center of the road attempting to block the paths of federal agents. She decided to flee in order to avoid arrest for breaking the law when a couple of agents approached her, with hands on her vehicle. When you are a social justice warrior willing to break laws and operate with impunity around federal agents, sorry, but being panicked is not a legitimate excuse for trying to flee and almost running them over.

Anyone who wants to break laws and harass federal agents with impunity should have enough sense to invade the US Capitol, not park in a street in her own neighborhood.

I agree with you. There is a difference between saying you want an attorney or videoing from a distance. You cannot interfere and you definitely can't put an officer in a position to defend themselves. This isn't the 1950s where beat cops know the neighborhood and are looking to deescalate. My experience has been LEO are alpha types looking to make an example and view anyone not LE as less than them. You do not want to be that example.

Babbet climbed through a window and stormed the Capital. This lady placed her self into an arrest and used her vehicle in a manner that could be viewed as threatening. Sorry, what did they expect? They shoot center mass, that is their training. Out the threat down and neutralize.

Report claims far-left groups are behind the funding of anti-ICE protests in Minnesota

WASHINGTON (TNND) Far-left groups are behind funding the anti-ICE protests in Minneapolis, according to an exclusive report from the New York Post.

One of the groups allegedly funding the protests is called Indivisible Twin Cities, which is a branch of the anti-Trump group called the Indivisible Project based in Washington, D.C.

This group was also reportedly behind the "No Kings" protests that happened around the U.S. last year that reportedly received millions of dollars from Soros' Open Society Foundations between 2018 and 2023.

I am of the opinion that you do stupid things, win stupid prizes. Babbit was responsible for her own death. She deserved to get shot.

Agreed?

i am not a fan of masked Agents. That is BS.

Then vicious criminal gangs that make money off human smuggling and mass migration....and leftist activist groups...should not be targeting Federal Agents.

Masking up makes sense when your life and safety (not to mention the life of your kids/wife and family) are in danger.

i get it. Just not a fan, anonymity results in lack of accountability and emboldens actions that would not otherwise be undertaken.

Of course Federal agents are not anonymous

They have names, training, officers in charge, must submit reports and details of law enforcement operations, wear body cams, and are acting under lawful authority.

The masked upped Antifa and leftist activists are the ones who are anonymous and who have no accountability whatsoever.

We know (or can find out) as citizens who the Federal agents are….we have no idea who the people in the streets confronting them are.

But we know only one group has a legal right to be there and to be enforcing democratically enacted immigration laws.

Good God. What a silly 8th-grade response. Got anything other than name-calling? Name-calling generally means "I have no evidence, so I will just use name-calling." So your evidence is .....?

Sorry, but your trolling is so terrible that your posts deserve nothing but derision and heckling. You have been shown irrefutable evidence that this woman was harassing ICE agents, not in any fear, and saw the agent before hitting her accelerator and striking the agent with her SUV. In the face of that irrefutable evidence you are here making up your own facts and then have the audacity to wonder why your posts are laughed at and you are disregarded as a moron? Incredible.

Your ilk openly celebrated when Charlie Kirk got shot through the neck for the crime of speaking. Don't act like "liberals" have more to do with decency than anyone else.

Not me. It was a tragedy. And what of Trump's 'decency'? President Trump said at the Charlie Kirk Memorial Service: "He did not hate his opponents. He wanted the best for them. That's where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate my opponent, and I don't want the best for them. I'm sorry. I am sorry Erika."A beautiful service marred by stupidity.

I know of no law that says you have the right to resist arrest, even if wrongfully detained. There are civil lawsuits filed everyday based on violations of the constitution. This guy might have a case. But that doesn't mean you can take the law into your own hands.

"ICE should consider a better approach because there are certain segments of the population who will resist anything Trump or Republicans do."
Ridiculous. No approach would work for open border morons and democrat sheep. All approaches short of sanctuary would receive the same exact rhetoric and violence. It's the same BS when they claim the ICE agents should have de-escalated; nothing short of releasing their prisoners and leaving the state would have de-escalated those nutjibs blocking the street.
Our vibrations were getting nasty. But why? I was puzzled, frustrated... Had we deteriorated to the level of dumb beasts?

These courageous men and women are risking their lives to take some really evil people - including murderers, rapists, child traffickers, drug dealers, gang members, etc. who have no right to be in the country in the first place off the street. These are people that don't respond to "please and thank you" or a polite "would you please deport yourself" request. What "better approach" would you suggest??

Many of your liberal brethren did celebrate Charlie's murder like it was Christmas morning. The point is that you are claiming some kind of moral high ground specifically for liberals that they gave up long ago if they ever had it. It isn't relevant to my point whether you personally celebrated his death or not.

The better approach is for the locals to honor the detainers. iCE would not have to engage in neighborhoods if they could simply pick up the illegals at the jail or courthouse.

The Marxists on the left will hate ICE regardless if they deport 200k a year or 1 million. These people can't be reasoned with so don't even bother. One thing I respect about Trump is he doesn't give a damn what people think. A lot of men within the GOP lack a spine and will cave to the leftist demands. Trump won't.

And that's one of the biggest reasons they viciously hate him so much. Until he showed up politically, the left and their MSM cronies were used to Republicans that might say the "right things" to get elected but would ultimately cower and cave to their pressure and their demands when the rubber hit the road. Trump not only won't do that - he becomes even more determined and more resolute in opposing them the more they try to do it to him. Constantly drives them even nuttier and fills them with even more TDS inspired hatred.

Quite the tantrum in your post, kiddo.

No, righteous anger that an "officer" unloaded two bullets point blank into the open drivers side window, into a woman's head, after any threat to him whatsoever had passed.

It was against policy, it was against protocol, it was against human decency.

Just as well shoot a fleeing suspect in the back of the head, pretty much the same thing.

That more people on here are not upset about that aspect of the encounter is a surprise to me.
It reeks of police incompetence, it reeks of an out-of-control agency, without proper training on deescalation.
