What did the DOJ investigation say on Perti and Goode? Barr/Garland DOJ investigated killing.
You seem to want to go from incident to findings instantaneously. Until DOJ, or some Law Enforcement investigates and issues a ruling, we can't compare and do not know. So, I don't know if MN will result in more, neither do you.
When are the investigations scheduled to be complete?
We can disagree on tactics, so take heart their is something you can disagree with me on.
What was wrong with the tactic of going to where the illegal aliens are and arresting them? How else are you supposed to enforce our immigration laws? Only stupid people don't understand that the agents had to be masked, armed, and armored because of the constant threats to them and their families' lives from democrats. Democrats who were only brainwashed to be violent by their democrat politicians, talking heads, and big money marxist, anti-American donors. Only stupid people would suggest that the agents should only go in pairs to arrest them, fully un-masked and then doxxed by the democrats, and fully unguarded from weaponized crazies like Alex Pretti.
So, what "tactics" unique to ICE and their mission are you referring to? Getting in school lanes, arresting illllegals at court when they are trying to do the right thing, and separating children from their parent, making people simple dissapper.

Multiple appellate courts just got overturned 9-0.

They were using de novo review of asylum cases — meaning the appellate court re-decides the issue from scratch — to overturn executive branch immigration judges. https://t.co/pmbVUw5s53

Bull****, as usual. Democrats have fomented a rebellion against the government and deporting illegals. We had UNPRECEDENTED numbers of illegals flood this country. Democrats thought that it was a big enough flood that Republicans would never be able to deport them all and Trump said he's going to do it. So he won his election. Now he's doing it. You don't like scary federal agents protecting their families from the left by wearing masks, most people know why you pretend they shouldn't do that. "But it looks bad!!!!" Yeah, that's how you stop the caravans from forming in the first place. Joe Biden showed the world cut and lifted fencing and lawsuits against states that tried to address the invasion. That created more caravans. We need MORE masked agents and scenes of rounding up illegals. THAT has brought the caravans to a halt. Most of us agree with the policy and the principle.
It is how it is done that has caused the Trump administration the most heartburn. The current Administration wants to create a fear and authority level, not just administer the law. That was the problem, since Noem is out and Homan has a greater measure of the what is going on how much have you heard about it? Reasonable people are fine with deportation of illegals, just not masked tactically clothed Agents shooting people in the street.
People keep bringing up Obama. Obama deported more people than Trump. Total deportations, true. But, if you look at internal deportations no one has deported more than Trump. There is a huge distinction. That is a great statistic and fact, why isn't Miller touting that and not the BS we hear?
There are all unforced errors. This Administration has made unforced error after unforced error. I don't get it, aren't there any professionals on his team? More like Homan? And let's face it, he is no liberal softy but he knows how to operate as a pro. Too many zealots and people put in positions that are not qualified.
It seems they are more interested in portraying a tough image than actually governing.

I fear Hegseth is about to show us he is over his

Facts matter, not feelings.
You live in a Democracy with Freedom of the Press, of course it matters. You can spout all you want, it does not change the rules of the game.
I don't know what world you live in where perception, media and optics doesn't matter. But it matters in all aspects of US life. Free press - First Amendment makes it an issue
.
If we had a fair and honest press you might have a point about their importance. But we do not.
You think that matters? You still have the press out there. It is up to Trump, Biden, Bush, Obama, Reagan to manage them. Reagan and Obama got it and cultivated good relationships. Bush and Trump didn't and get skewered. That is why the Press Secretary is so important. James Brady helped Reagan immensely. Karoline Leavitt is hurting Trump.
There is NO effort to get positive information out of there, except for Trump. And nobody believes him. People don't know if he is literal, if he's joking or if his facts are even close to true. That is a failure of his communications team. How quickly did Homan calm things down in MN? 1 or 2 days?
Trump needs a re-set. The feel is that it is spiraling. That is because nobody knows what the end is supposed to look like. Blowing up another building or airfield isn't going to help if people don't know what it is achieving beside pyrotechnics. He needs to answer some questions or help the general public get an idea of what it is we are doing. Because they have Mullah's backed up a mile deep. Killing him isn't going to do anything, like we just saw.
one of the reasons a "34 time felon in the Epstein files" was able to win is in no small part due to how little credibility the media has with Americans. In other words, Trump has more credibility than the media, his election proves it.
Does it? Or was it his competitor? Have you ever seen an easier field than old Joe handing off to Kamala? There was no choice.
Midterms will tell us a lot, it is tough to win seats when sitting. But, if it is not a wipe out, then you are right. A lot will depend on how he cleans up this Iran thing and the economy behaves.

I think you are missing part of the landscape, FLBear. Many polls show the public has lost trust in mainstream news, and the younger generations, for both good and bad reasons, depend more on social media than old-school news groups.
A lot of people go along with the story that fits what they believed going in, while a lot of people don't form an opinion on politicians/candidates until the actual election. That's why we see that flood of advertising in primary and general election seasons; the candidates are going for the remaining voters willing to be swayed.
I think the Iran conflict is not likely to matter much directly in the fall. The economic effects are quite another matter.

There were protests under Obama too. They didn't get as much attention, in part because theauthorities didn't react as brutallyprotesters were much fewer and acted like adults.
Corrected
These responses now are not quiet. Because DT is behind them.
If by "DT is behind them" you mean deportations are being done in flagrantly illegal and inhumane ways, yes.
Just like how Biden brought them here.
These are the days of our lives.
I was a teacher during the BO deportations. One of my students was checked out of school because her father was in the process of being deported. She never returned to class and returned to Mexico with him and her family. It wasn't pleasant, and we were told to be alert to the affect and behaviors of our students because some of them would be impacted by it.
And while it seemed to be done much more quietly, we know why. Because BO was a Democrat, and neither the media nor the "protestors" were going to step on his toes and make him look bad.
As soon as DT started deporting, even the criminals, all hell broke loose. The agitators, not the "protestors" were sent in. The media jumped all over it and created havoc. Agitators were getting in the faces of ICE and doing everything they could to get them to react. And if ICE did react, there was someone there with a camera of course.
You get in the way of law enforcement, things happen. But somehow those agitators were the "victims."
We'll see what happens with regard to the investigations of what happened with those two "protestors." But to pretend like the media, and the hype and agitation created by agitators, not protestors (which was all but absent when BO was doing it) is disingenuous.
I'm just curious. If any of these people who are pro-illegal immigrant were dropped into the middle of Mexico with their families, and the authorities showed up, even if it was in the middle of the night, to deport them, would they be calling them, or the leaders of Mexico the "gestapo." Or "Nazis." Or whatever. Probably not. They would see them as doing their job.

Not all, you just seem to like to focus on those. I give credit where it is due, such as closing the border or Homan's handling of the MN f-up or the military's handling of Maduro mission or the Navy SEAL Admiral's testimony before Congress all were well done.
I also want answers for things that don't look right, such as masked, Federal Agents in tactical gear shooting protestor or starting a war with Iran and having no idea what comes after the first cool boom. Tariffing the world in one day, threatening to take Greenland, having Musk fire 1/3 of Federal workforce in a month, Bondi's handling of the Epstein files, his Gaza Rivera on the Med scheme with Kushner, his Cyber handling (private and Federal), his kids now getting into Drones and AI. I think you get the idea. Those I want some answers.
