So as things stand right this second... if Biden wins, it will be bcs the District of Colombia gets three electoral votes. Why the hell does DC get electoral votes?
Because the 23rd amendment says so, if you wanna change it good luck.The_barBEARian said:

Because the democrats wanted it
Reps complaining about that now is like Dems threatening to add D.C. as a state for 2 more Senators.The_barBEARian said:br53 said:The_barBEARian said:

More proof that establishment Republicans are dumb as hell... pretty sure the founding father intended for the capital to be neutral and completely apolitical.
Fascinating. Thanks for sharing.AZ_Bear said:midgett said:

My voting place handed out Sharpies and my answers bled through. It's a 2 sided sheet so I don't know what the implications are. My kids who were with me even discussed it at the time. We just assumed that, since the bleed marks didn't line up the answers on the other side, then it would be okay.

Ok so riddle me this, when voting, the Presidency is on the first page correct?
How does the sharpie mess up those particular votes for the Presidency? Which is what is most important to 99% of you?
Im just curious for you guy's answers

As they should.AZ_Bear said:
Trump is not conceding Arizona. The campaign was meeting with lawyers this morning. They are definitely looking at the Sharpie issue.
They will also be reviewing ballots that were not counted due to the signatures not matching, and curing ballots for the next few days. The Trump team feels good that this will all work out in their favor, but they obviously drink the cool-aid.

i gave a plausible explanation, i already stated that Biden probably won. There is still a path for Trump and and some serious irregularities happened overnight but it isnt up to me to figure those out...BaylorBears_254 said:Gruvin said:bleed thru cause issuesBaylorBears_254 said:

And this issue only took notice when it got closer and closer to the end of the AZ voting?
And is this still the case if Trump somehow regains the AZ lead?
Because not to sound cliche, but this is sounding similar to 4 years ago with the "Russians Hacking"
This would be more like if someone in the 2000 Florida election had replaced the proper chad punch tool with a pocket knife.BaylorBears_254 said:Gruvin said:bleed thru cause issuesBaylorBears_254 said:

You should watch Narcos on Netflix - that crap happened for real in Mexico.chriscbear said:
I know this sounds like "tin foil hat" thinking but could there be computer programs or programmers who press a button and change results in some states. Big tech and big government make me nervous.

We rely heavily on poll monitors to catch irregularities. That is one problem with electronic voting. They are not volunteer poll watcher friendly. It would be very difficult to spot an issue such as what you suggest. There would be no paper trail, unless one is generated that can be viewed by the voter.chriscbear said:

there are two of them(supposedly). Does not mean they are real or were used...chriscbear said:

I like the idea of a receipt with a confirmation number where you can go home, get online and verify your vote is in and in the way you voted. It would likely more some voter fraud more difficult. If you tell someone you will help them vote and mark A when they ask B and they check later that you marked A, you are at risk.EatMoreSalmon said:We rely heavily on poll monitors to catch irregularities. My feeling is that all votes should be hand counted as well as electronically counted to double check results. The more eyes that see the counting process, the more likely that fraud or irregularities would be reported.
Have no particular objection to that, but the voter fraud people are worried about is votes cast by people who should not be voting. This does noting to address that.midgett said:I like the idea of a receipt with a confirmation number where you can go home, get online and verify your vote is in and in the way you voted.
