He set an American record and would have been a world record if not for the Norweigan smashing the previous WR.

It would be like scoring 70 points against Jordan and he counters by scoring 75.

To me - that race is what the Olympics are all about. Amazing performance, nothing to be ashamed of.

Briles was trying to win SIX Gold medals in Tokyo.
She ended up winning one bronze.
