The Big 12 Should Designate Rivalries in Basketball for Double Action

The goal of a conference is to make money for its members. There are other goals—and I wish nobler ones than that—but there’s a reason USC and Rutgers share a league and a reason that SDSU went crazy and tried to leave the Mountain West without an invite to the PAC-12. 

The Big 12 currently plays an 18 game league slate.
