1 minute. Not sure how he ever wound up with us.
There are a lot of misses out of high school and AAU ball because you're projecting how guys will do against better, more mature competition based on what they're doing against high school players.

Everyone reaches the ceiling of their game at some point. Based on what he did in college, many would think Drew Timme would be a good pro. But it's a different game against a different level of competition. The same thing happens at lower levels, where you can have elite high school players incapable of making that jump.

He was help side defending on that play. He is always chasing because our perimeter guys get blown by so easily.

Have they been saving their appetites for the NCAA Tourney?

Our Bears are looking HUNGRY!

He was way too high to begin with. Watch Josh, he never floats up to the free throw line for no reason. He stops the ball on blow-bys and forces a pass out to the perimeter.

Indeed. Same for football. Most so-called 4 and 5 stars play against a bunch of dudes who will never play another down/possession after high school.

We look like **** to start this second half. Did we save our lull for the second half today?

Nice run has the lead back up to 20. We're so much better defensively with Josh on the floor it's not funny. Unfortunately, we lose almost all of Missi's offense in those stretches.

Wish RJ would have tossed the to Lohner. He's earned it.

Might not seem like it but Lohner is giving us really nice contributions. Now if he hit those wide open corner 3s, he would be great. Still playing well

Lohner's been great. All we need from him is energy without game-changing mistakes. If he gives us that, he's a 10-15 minute-per-game player.

His positioning is so much better right now. Excellent rebounding too

I've missed most of this one because of work....I know...my priorities are messed up.

Looking forward to watching it in full tonight.

Would like to see JTT out there practicing his "organize the defense" role. Might need him to do that later in the tourney.

I think you have to consider the opponent to a degree because we bury teams we can overwhelm athletically.

But we've played about as well as we can offensively.

Who are the many that thought Timme would be a good pro? I'm not sure I recall anyone who's job is to project talent saying that, the fact he wasn't drafted makes it clear he wasn't thought of as a NBA talent. Sure a lot of fans maybe thought he was, but that's not like missing on guys in recruiting. Fans as a whole are bad at talent evaluation.

I'm not talking about scouts. I'm speaking in generalities. It would stand to reason that a guy who dominates college basketball to the degree that he did would be good at the next level. That's not the case because the NBA is beyond his ceiling as a player.

And if you don't like the Timme example, there are plenty of similar college players who did get drafted in the first round and couldn't play that level.

The same happens with high school players.

Compared to some of our other first round games as a #3 seed, this was one of most pleasantly boring games on record. Low stress, zero anxiety.

1st complete offensive game we've had in ages. Gotta consider the competition, but still, it's a relief to see after how often our offense looked like complete garbage for 20-30 minutes per game in the last month or so.

Great taking care of biz win against an opponent that should be a taking care of biz win.

Sacks has got to have season record for scoring from an end of the bench last minute of blowout games trash time player (and the record for three point shots made)!

Only margins of victory so far larger than ours are UNC by 28 and Tenn by 34.
