We played hard and competed well. We just didn't play nearly a clean enough game to beat a good team today.

I feel better now than I did in the first half. This was more of a missed opportunity than an ass-kicking.

We need to clean A LOT of stuff up. But we weren't outmanned today anywhere but in the secondary. And we've got a lot of new personnel coming in there.

LSU is a good team?
By their standards probably not but they are much better than average.

Team was poorly poorly poorly prepared. Bad coaching.
I think we were outmanned in the secondary.

And our offensive game plan was good. We moved the ball at will all day. We just pissed down our leg over and over.

I think falling behind 14-0 almost immediately put us in a defensive position and we were never able to get out of it.

We had one opportunity to in the second half and snapped it 30 yards over our quarterback's head on fourth-and-1.

Bears fought for 60 minutes. And except for a few mistakes it was a very good showing.

I'm excited for Sawyer next season.

I can't complain. Bears exceeded my expectations. My ceiling was 6 & 6. We were playing with house money after 6th win. We played in a good bowl against a good team. Not hanging my head. However, the ceiling has been raised for 2025 - 8 & 4 minimum.

LSU is a good team?
Yes. They won nine games and had a 5-3 record in the SEC with wins over ranked teams from South Carolina and Ole Miss.

They weren't a great team, but like a lot of teams with similar records in the SEC, they were a good one.

LSU is a good team?


LSU finished 9-4 and 5-3 in SEC play and has a win over #14 Ole Miss. They will probably sneak back into the Top 25 in the last poll.

Do they not qualify as a good team?

Really frustrating finish to an otherwise outstanding second half of the season. Way too many mistakes / bad decisions by the coaches and way too many mistakes by the players in what was a very winnable game.
