I had a short lived optimistic hope for next year with the Portal pickups. Now, reality sets in… why did these guys pick Baylor? What's wrong with them? Our receivers getting past lsu secondary most every play. We've just missed several passes there.

The pick 6 asi making it look even worse.

I agree completely. They can't cover us either. Sawyer has missed three touchdown passes already.

We're holding up OK everywhere but in our defensive backfield, and we can't stay in the same zip code as their receivers.

We might need to start mixing in some risky blitzes or something. We can't just let Nuss sit back there for five or six seconds waiting for someone to get open.

Pendergrass's second effort after getting stood up at the line initially was great.

We getting people in the backfield but always in the wrong area. Need to contain and not allow the rollouts if possible

Their receivers are good. A couple of those guys will play in the league.
