Everyone is saying this player or that player, but Dave was supposed to be a defensive guru. I know that my criticism of Dave is hurting some people's feelings, but it's just the truth of the matter. He needs to hire a legit defensive mind and just stick to a big picture CEO role moving forward, because this type of defensive performance is all too common

I hope Dave just starts blitzing and playing cover 0. That's about the only shot we have of slowing them down on a regular basis

Dave sucks at calling a defense. No sane BU fan can argue that.. that said Jenkins and a few others in the secondary have been woeful this year

Our secondary is really, really bad.

We've just got to keep scoring and hope their scoring pace slows at some point.

The good news is they're not manhandling us on either line. We just need to settle in and make plays and stop harming ourselves.

If we can get this one to the fourth quarter close, we'll have a solid chance to win. But that's a big if right now.

I'm not sure if there's any kind of pass defense you can call that would allow this secondary to perform well. New personnel needed yesterday.

About the only thing I can think of to employ is a soft zone and that will yield a bunch of yards but hopefully we can tighten up in the red zone. But I'm starting to lose hope. If it gets to 28-7, then I will have lost all hope.

I agree with that statement. For all the success we have on offense this year, the defense was not lights out at any point. They weren't half lights out.

That's part of the problem, but we have lost multiple games under his tenure due to last second Hail Mary's just as a for instance. It goes beyond talent issues, jmho

I knew the secondary was bad, but I wasn't banking on them being this slow of foot.

Hilton has elite speed, we have nobody who has a chance to stay with him on deep balls.

Need a ton of CB help as we said earlier. It isn't just the safeties. One of the worst secondaries in all of P4. Terrible recruiting and development
