Offense:

Liberty Christian QB Quinn Murphy‍ lost to Anna, 31-28. Murphy finished 31-of-50 for 279 yards and four touchdowns. He also ran for 18 yards and fumbled the ball once.

San Antonio Madison WR Jordan Clay‍ fell to New Braunfels, 35-31. Clay posted eight catches for 169 yards and a touchdown.

University WR London Smith‍ lost to Keller Central, 43-17. He finished with five receptions for 34 yards.

Lake Belton WR Davion Peters‍ lost to A&M Consolidated, 44-17. He totaled nine carries for 30 yards and four receptions for 29 yards.

Trophy Club TE Parker Almanza‍ beat Frenship, 30-7. He got the start at quarterback and posted 164 yards with two touchdowns through the air, also adding 58 yards and another score on the ground.

Orem (UT) TE Kai Wesley‍ lost to Rocky Mountain, 39-37. 

North Forney OL Marcus Page‍ and Kole Seaton‍ beat Dallas Skyline, 51-0. The offense posted 332 yards and five touchdowns on the ground.

Holmes County (MS) OL Donel Robinson‍ beat Biloxi 33-30. The offense totaled 341 yards.


Recruit Reactions to Baylor's Opener: 'The Hospitality & Environment Were Electric'


Defense:

Santa Fe (OK) DL JaeLin Battle‍ lost to Brazoswood, 34-28. 

Temple EDGE Jamarion Carlton‍ beat Nuevo Leon, 42-18. 

Woodlawn (LA) EDGE Tyrone Morgan‍ beat Broadmoor, 20-7. He had a scoop-and-score touchdown on special teams.

South Oak Cliff LB Jamarion Phillips‍ beat North Shore, 41-31. As a side note, I am pretty sure they gave him Mikhail Trotter’s stats for this game on MaxPreps. I think he will be out for a little bit after having surgery a week ago.

HSAA S Jordan Davis‍ lost to TCHS, 34-14. He totaled five receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown on offense. He also added 12 tackles, two for loss, a sack, a forced fumble, a blocked field goal and a pick-six on defense.

Connally CB Jamarion Vincent‍ beat Little River Academy, 33-29. He finished with 125 yards and two touchdowns on five receptions. He also added nine yards rushing and a scoop and score on defense.

Pleasant Grove CB Jamarion Richardson‍ beat Atlanta, 34-2. He had a 49-yard touchdown run and an interception.
