You know, it's near impossible to feel good after this win. This was plain blind, stupid luck that we won today. Kansas State coached horribly at just the right time to put us in position for a go ahead field goal. God smiles upon Dave Aranda. The RBs make stupid decisions.
Our defense is a joke and so is Dave Aranda.
Kudos to the Baylor Line freshman students who stuck around for the wild ending. A large group of fans are probably finding out the good news at Buccee's in Hillsboro.

Baylor has won 8 of 9 conference games tied for 2nd best 9 game stretch in program history
Well...that is getting the job done. As frustrating as Aranda football is to experience at times all that matters is wins and he's been finding a way to get them.
I guess we cherry pick the numbers then. Somewhere they forget we lost to Utah, Colorado, BYU and ISU to start conference play.
I don't see a clear win in our next 6 games. .500 record this year is unacceptable. Anyone who agrees that it is needs the head examined.
TCU, Cincy, UCF, Utah, Arizona, and Houston. We could get to 10-2 or drop to 4-8, most likely split them somewhere and end up 7-5.
We should be able to beat UCF and Arizona, but the other 4 games don't appear to be favorable match ups for us.
What has Houston done that impresses you so much? They needed a miracle to beat a god awful Oregon State team last week.

A win is great but let's not make a 9-3 over P4 teams the goal. Look at who those 9 were and most are in the same boat as us. Very average.

9-3 over our peers is obviously good enough, the problem is that we probably aren't going 9-3 in the next 12 based upon the flaws of the current team.
It's just amazing seeing our fans acting like we're too good to accept 9-3 (9-1 vs B12/ACC) especially since we don't spend above and beyond them.
Baylor is 4-2 going into the buy week. This fanbase needs to rally behind this group. This team just pulled out a hard fought victory, fans have to be better, students have to be better. #SicEm

What is a "buy week"?
is it similar to a bye week or did we get something on Amazon?

We Baylor fans were spoiled by Briles. We got used to lots of wins, often in a stunning fashion. The problem is that our BoR fired Briles and we have not had a span anything like that since. 2019 & 2021 were great years but outliers under different coaches.
We fans want to get back to the habit of winning: 8-10 every year, bowl game every year, winning bowl games more often than not, outstanding athletes getting national accolades & drafted, being ranked most of the time, etc. Most of all, we want exciting games that are fun to watch.

I feel there's more to it than a coach that last coached here when the current Baylor Line were 8 years old.
Yet here we are with really bad attendance and attitude as a fanbase in general. This place feels more morose than we did the Morriss years and it's starting to get a bit Steele-y.
Did we rely on the energy that playing big names like OU, A&M, UT, and NU brought to the conference in order to feel like we were big time football boys? Is it just the negative feeling that our culture has at large right now?

The fans had every right to walk out at that point. That was bad football and the team needed to hear it.
