The ultimate tailgate package for Baylor’s 2019 season!

Home teams go undefeated this week in the Big 12 as the top five teams in the conference become a little clearer.

Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 | Week 5 | Week 6 | Week 7 | Week 8 | Week 9 | Week 10

Week 11

Baylor 20, TCU 27 (Fort Worth)

The Horned Frogs are in danger of sliding to the bottom half of the conference standings and have two options, build momentum or slide into mediocrity this year. They will come in as the hungrier team. Coach Patterson will get them ready like he has each of the last four times these teams have met. The defense will give Baylor all kinds of issues because the Bears won’t be able to run the ball effectively enough. Baylor will also have a couple turnovers. The Horned Frogs get a 100-yard rushing performance and two touchdowns from Sewo Olonilua. Alex Delton also adds a touchdown. Baylor moves the ball some but settles for a couple field goals and the Bears miss out on too many opportunities in the red zone. Charlie Brewer has 250 yards passing but is unable to lead the offense to enough points.

Iowa State 20, Oklahoma 34 (Norman)

The Cyclones won in Norman two years ago and will be looking to move into first place in the conference with a win. Oklahoma on the other hand is trying to remain perfect on the season. This game will be very close early but the Cyclones are just not the same team on the road as they are at home. Brock Purdy and the offense struggle at times throughout this game and allow Oklahoma to build up a double digit lead early in the second half and keep it. Purdy throws for 300 yards and a couple touchdowns because they are forced to play catch up all day. The Sooners wear down the tough Cyclones defense with the run game and connect on a few deep balls in the pass game. Oklahoma stays unbeaten.

Kansas State 14, Texas 34 (Austin)

The Wildcats have had a rough go of it in Big 12 play but are riding high after a big rivalry win over Kansas. Unfortunately that win does not lead to much momentum since they have to go to Austin this week. Sam Ehlingher throws for 300 yards, runs for 50 yards, and scores four times in this one. Collin Johnston and Devin Duvernay each catch touchdown passes and the Longhorns rack up nearly 500 yards of total offense. Kansas State continues to have issues moving the ball plus in this one they turn it over a couple times which makes matters even worse.

Texas Tech 34, West Virginia 40 (Morgantown)

West Virginia needs a win in the worst way and by this point in the season the Neal Brown culture should be getting to a much better spot. These two teams matchup pretty well but the fact that it is in Morgantown gives the Mountaineers an extra push. Austin Kendall gets the offense rolling especially on the ground against a porous Red Raider defense. Kendall, Kennedy McKoy, and Martell Pettaway combine for 250 yards and 4 touchdowns rushing. Alan Bowman picks apart the West Virginia secondary to the tune of 400 yards and three touchdowns but two turnovers put a damper on the stellar outing. TJ Vasher and McLane Mannix each go for over 100 yards and a touchdown but it’s not enough.
