Gameday: No. 20 Baylor opens B4A against VCU

The Baylor men's basketball team will open the Battle 4 Atlantis on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. CT against VCU and will be aired live on ESPN2. The meeting between the Bears (3-0) and the Rams (3-0) is the fourth ever matchup for the programs.

he was huge when it mattered. I doubt we see him shoot that bad the rest of the season.

We're doing a good job getting to the line this season.

Part of that seems by design. Part is that we appear to have no outside shooter at all. I love that we are pounding down low...have to find someone to shoot the ball at some point.
I think Freeman, McClure and Lecomte are good outside shooters.

Freeman is streaky. McClure has been non existent thus far and lecomte was turrible from the floor today. That we won with essentially no outside shooting is a testament.

I agree we had no outside shooting today, but I think it's there for the team as a whole. Good adjustment by Drew to play high low with our post guys.

Great win. VCU is a good team. Free throws and rebounding won it for us. Physical teams will give us fits this year. Ashley likes to talk about matchups and this one is a game we could have easily lost, but Drew adjusted well.
