Gameday: No. 20 Baylor opens B4A against VCU

The Baylor men's basketball team will open the Battle 4 Atlantis on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. CT against VCU and will be aired live on ESPN2. The meeting between the Bears (3-0) and the Rams (3-0) is the fourth ever matchup for the programs.

So from what I gather, McClure and Mitchell though very talented have a ways to go from being positive contributors this year (McClure mainly getting back from his injury).

Manu is the GD truth though.

The way this is going all you have to do is act like you got bumped and they'll call a foul.

They are right, compared to Creighton where it was mid Big 12 season form, this is night and day w/ the refs. At least they are feeling the foul problems worse than us so far.

Just post Motley up every time.

Motley needs to battle deeper for the ball. VCU does a good job getting lower on the block, Motley just takes what the defense gives him. He's not 1st rounder yet but I'm sure his ankle is not 100% yet.

We need a shooting guard. VCU has steadily packed more into the lane. I think we have only taken 1 jump shot.

Was really hoping it's be McClure. Freeman is solid, but he's just that - solid. I think he has a pretty solid floor each night but his ceiling on a night to night basis is very limited. That's why I was hoping for McClure to be the flamethrower.
