Gameday: No. 20 Baylor opens B4A against VCU

The Baylor men's basketball team will open the Battle 4 Atlantis on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. CT against VCU and will be aired live on ESPN2. The meeting between the Bears (3-0) and the Rams (3-0) is the fourth ever matchup for the programs.

Drew and the coaching staff took young Wade to school with 2nd half adjustments. Baylor +16 in the 2nd half.

Manu w/ one of his worst games but still finishes w/ 16pts and clinches the game w/ his AND 1 and FTs. Great competitor. Big 2nd half for our Bears outscoring VCU by 16pts.

Poor decision to keep fouling him. He was awful today but shot great from the line.

I continue to be impressed by this team. Motley has taken his aggressiveness and physicality to another level this year. Ish does all the small things that don't show up on the stat line. He has been fantastic in every game I've seen so far. Good win against a good team. Love that this team closes out at the end of games. It says a lot that when the game is on the line, instead of letting the other guys bring it back, we extend the lead.

Waiting on McClure to have a positive impact like I expect him to. will be a huge addition if he can find his confidence and three point shot.

Part of that seems by design. Part is that we appear to have no outside shooter at all. I love that we are pounding down low...have to find someone to shoot the ball at some point.

1st half was my fault guys........went with the green arm sleeves.

Switched to the white sleeves at halftime (have worn them every other game), and we see what happened.

Green sleeves are shelved

I think Freeman, McClure and Lecomte are good outside shooters.
