Statman predicted he would turn 53, then disappears.

I need buy in but I was going to start a thread to see if the staff would check with him. They apparently have his email.SMack said:
Have you heard from the 'gator?
What is the time and place of the celebration before the Oklahoma game?
Did you get the check yet?
Is such a thing even possible?Dia del DougO said:

I was thinking we could meet near a spot on the Bear Trail and have a leering contest. I've been practicing.BU84BEAR said:I need buy in but I was going to start a thread to see if the staff would check with him. They apparently have his email.SMack said:

No check yet. How much will I be disappointed in not receiving?
Time is sometime after midnight in a new thread (referencing this one of course).
Bring presents and band youtubes ( I hear the Hot Sardines may be playing); party favor gifs, you know, prediction jokes, you know, the usual)

Heck, we could make it a 53rd birthday bash and Roast...what do you think?
I like this. StatMans 1st Annual 53rd Birthday Party.Dia del DougO said:
Just make in an annual event, like Statman, instead of Burning Man. Everybody does the opposite of what they're supposed to do.
I can imagine lots of great events, like the Dr. Pepper chug-off, the 5K Jogging Trail Stalk, the cell phone bicycle relay, and the Obvious Statement Call-In competition.marco said:I like this. StatMans 1st Annual 53rd Birthday Party.Dia del DougO said:

Ya know, I just started to really look at the calendar and this thing is going to fall on this Sunday, right? I've been counting down, well, following the count down, but I wasn't really thinking about what day of the week it was going to happen on and quite frankly Sunday is just not a good day for me. Baylor has a game this Saturday and there's real good chance we're going to lose and lose badly too. Could we maybe move this thing up a day? I don't mean actually amend his birfday but just change the day we observe the blessed event? Kinda like we do with Presidents Day. Once upon a time we celebrated Washington's birthday. Then it was Washington's birthday (observed). And then it was lumped in and we got Presidents Day. Maybe a People Whose Birthday Falls in the Last Week of September to be celebrated on the last Saturday of the month?
We've still got a couple of days to mull this over, Martin. (heh, see what I did there?)
Okay, I heard the microwave "ding", my pastry is warm now. Y'all talk it over, I'm going to enjoy a nice sardine covered bear claw.
