Cowboys announced that Maliek Collins and David Irving aren't making the trip to Houston. Collins has been battling a knee issue. It always seemed a little far-fetched that Irving would play, given that he's practiced once since last November.

Travis Frederick and Terrance Williams would be eligible to return Dec. 9 vs. Philadelphia. Teams are allowed to recall two players from injured reserve during the course of the season. If Williams is suspended, he would serve it while on IR.

kinda odd given the DT depth problems - thought he had a little upside - Cowboys released DT Christian Ringo (Louisiana-Lafayette) from the practice squad.

DLaw - 20 sacks over his last 20 games. Dating to the start of the 2017 season, Lawrence is matched only by Arizona's Chandler Jones.

Thinking ahead - Cowboys will have to decide after this season whether to work out the rich long-term deal Lawrence covets. They could also use a second franchise tag, worth $20.5 million for the 2019 season.
