K State played great football for 29 minutes of the 1st half. They just went completely to sleep in the last minute and gave up a TD, although those were a couple of really difficult passes completed by Bama's QB.

It is a down year for Bama: they are not in the playoffs. They expect to play for a natty every year. But down for them is not the same as for everyone else. It says a lot about Alabama when 10-2 is a "down year". We will be lucky if we ever get to a championship game or even a semifinal.

They 100% are having a down year, it's just been mitigated somewhat by Bryce Young. An elite quarterback can cover a multitude of sins
