I was told by several in here how down Bama was this year yada yada. They're taking it to the B12 champ…. Gonna be 28-10 before KSU gets another possession

Putting this season to the side because it's not over, the Big 12 has largely been down since 2009 in the sense that its champ is not one of the best 2 teams in the nation with the possible (but impossible to prove) exception of 2014 TCU.

BU averaged 32.2 points per game this year and KSU averaged 33.2 ppg.

We were pretty close to them....although our head to head matchup certainly looked otherwise.

I would take a Saban led Alabama down year every time.

Now it's 35-10
It looks like Bama is going to run away with this one. Unfortunately, it is what it is. And this is still a down year for them.

K State just getting boatraced now. This has been an embarrassing post season for the Big 12.

This may be the type of matchup we would get in a 12 team CFP

Probably first round matchups could be 1 sided but let them play the games and see what happens, always surprises.

I'm definitely up for a 12 team playoff. The upsets will be less likely than what we see in March Madness....but they can certainly still happen.

Timing is everything. This hurts, as a program and Conference. Realignment is not over. The 12 team Playoff is not the end. Do you guys remember 1992 and the B12/SWC merger?? It was not a slam dunk BU was going to be included. That was 2 scandals ago and how many coaches? What makes anyone think we are in a better position if the B12 does not survive?

Bryce Young is a different level of quarterback than they saw all year.

Embarrassing but not surprising. Bama was/is significantly better than K state or Tcu

Bryce Young is unbelievable. He masked a lot of Alabama's deficiencies this year. They don't beat Texas or Ole Miss without him. And today he turned what should have been close game into a blowout with one dime after another.

He seems like an awesome kid, too. I don't like Alabama. But he's one I'll definitely be rooting for in the NFL.

They actually weren't this year. Other than Mississippi State, they played within a score of basically every good team they played. And the spread on this game was only a field goal.

There's no good reason this game should have gotten as out of hand as it did today.

Alabama is more talented, but not 30-plus points more talented. K-State killed themselves by going for it before half and calling a timeout, allowing Young to lead a 98-yard scoring drive. And the onside kick out of the break was a stupid, desperate decision, too.

Yup. This is a DOWN Bama team. I can't believe some people think this is good for Baylor. That is how you end up G5

I actually think this was the best coaching job of Nick Saban's career because this team wasn't close to a vintage Alabama squad. The fact that they still won 11 games and beat some good teams along the way speaks to how good Saban and Bryce Young are.

Iowa and Kentucky combined for 391 yards total offense, 1 offensive TD, and 2 for 29 on 3rd down conversions.

They were on Saturday. But neither the metrics nor Vegas suggested that outcome should have been expected.

Nor did either team's full body of work.

Alabama, which was motivated to prove it should have been in the playoff (it shouldn't), played its best game of the year that day. And Kansas State made three or four disastrous decisions that turned what should have been about a 10-point game into a blowout.

That wasn't the argument. Again they are a much better football team than Kstate.

Aggregate metrics say Uga is about 16 better than tcu if we want to go that way
