I'm so sick of this defense. If Aranda doesn't fire himself as DC in the offseason, we need to fire him as head coach.

This bend-and-break defense is infuriating.

Like, not only are their pursuit angles terrible, it's also the most generally unathletic defense that I think that we have ever had. I know that we have had some injuries, but how are some of these guys earning a paycheck

Every time I see comments about Dave being this great defensive mind and DC, I think of seeing the D's he's put on the field for most of his 6 years here and the glaring lack of fundamentals they have, then shrug my shoulders.

I'm so sick of these coaches. They all need to go. He just calls the same three or four pass plays where he refuses to utilize the middle of the field. It's like an eight-year-old that's playing Madden for the first time and finds one play that works, and it's all he knows to run every single play

I think if we hired a good DC, we would be better than mediocre. We've seen what a difference-making coordinator can do with our offense. Go find a similarly talented DC to fix the defense.

Dave Aranda has proven he and his staff can recruit, and the culture he's built has allowed us to do a better job than most of retaining our talent. If we can fix the Xs and Os side with him on the sideline, it would be a better path forward than starting over with a new coach who would be far from a sure thing hire.
