The numbers that on3 spits out are complete bogus in my opinion. I think those are the numbers that these guys agents are floating to drive up their value

I heard Lanorris made like 2.5-2.75 last year so wouldnt be surprised if he got 3 to stay.

If one of the BMDs had to decide between signing a QB for next year or signing a big man for basketball this year I'm glad he decided to go with the big man. Oh and Merry Christmas to you all.

We will have four quarterbacks in 2026. Save the money on the sixth and get a lot of big uglys. We need the best offensive and defensive lines we can get. This will make our team much better.

I agree that signing a bunch of lineman would be ideal. I'm just not sure how we get the best available guys to take a serious look at us… Unless we are in a position to materially outbid everyone else.

I found this YouTube breakdown of Curt Cignetti very interesting. As it says in the comments... McKinsey would charge $1.2M for this sort of market analysis

  • Clear out ineffective management
  • Hire a proven executive who can manage a portfolio of human assets
  • Eliminate bad assets (players & coaches)
  • Acquire players & coaches with proven production over potential. (i.e. recruit 2 & 3 star players with 2 years of game tape at the collegiate level rather than 4 and 5 star HS players).

The video details how *curt cignetti* engineered the rapid turnaround of the *indiana hoosiers* football program, framing it as a successful *business restructuring**. This approach, inspired by Nick Saban's methods, showcases effective **business management* and a clear *business strategy* that transformed a struggling asset into a playoff contender. Discover the framework behind this extraordinary college football success story.

Fascinating! Thanks for posting.

It's the blueprint - Dave's not even capable of copying it when it's an open book exam and he's got all the answers to the questions already.

Ole Decaf Dave uses the "way cool/person over player" analysis that is as lifeless as he is

Can they let Dave tank and go sign a Euro or top g-league pg while there at it. Scrap whatever d lineman or lb that Dave will just waste anyway. Mine as well go all out and win a natty.

One of the interesting wrinkles in Novosad's departure decision is Oregon offensive coordinator and quarterback coach Will Stein's exit to become the head coach at Kentucky. Novosad, who has previously stated his bond with Stein coached quarterbacks Bo Nix and Dillon Gabriel, could follow his mentor across the country to SEC territory.

I like it.

We need something (anything) to inject some positivity and anticipation back into this program.

Raiola is a poison pill if you have to hire his uncle as OL coach like NU did...not worth it imo.
