Here is the closest thing to an updated Big 12 portal tracker I have found thus far.

It ain't just Baylor. It's not good for most of the Big 12, probably most of college football.

Baylor, Cowboys could rebuild in a year with the right free agent signing/draft class. Just look at my Jags. From 3-14 to 13-4. Granted they had the common sense to get a new coach

Good to know we aren't alone. Just from my causal observations it looks like TT and UH have had good starts. TT is no surprise of course.

It's been 30 years since we've had a playoff win outside of the wild card round. We've had some winning teams of course in that stretch but nothing special...but there is little hope we will be the franchise we used to be before Jerry chased off Jimmy Johnson.

Sorry I'm pretty ignorant to all these transfers. So are these kids leaving without a place to land and hoping another school drafts them? So they were getting paid at Baylor but they're gambling they will get paid better somewhere else? And if they don't get picked up they get paid zilch or if they get desperate the could take a pay cut at some other school?

i expect us to be the worst roster in the league. Other programs are currently landing splash recruits. The premium board assured me that we were going into the off-season with a pocket full of cash to spend on portal guys like a rich kid on allowance day, but that was clearly bogus

Their current back is young and their top rb actually was out of the year.. so they'll probably bank on him returning and go all in (again) on the lines and upgrade receiver.

B Wash's health makes it a gamble but I'll be very surprised if he isn't picked up by a top program. Great feel for the game when healthy.

Surprised one of the other backs haven't announced too. Pendergrass, Knighten, and Turner are all good backs. Wouldn't be shocked for one more to go. Would love for David to leave with them. The next coach needs to be a savant to get this thing going again.

The sad part about all this is that I'd be okay with this mass exodus if Baylor had a new coach.
There's zero point in getting excited about a single portal pickup because Baylor's going to be doing the exact same thing next December with a new coach
