No Baylor official has ever said 19 football players raped or beat 17 Baylor women.

If milli is not your point, you should not be trying to minimize the toxicity he brings by complaining that other posters do not act the same way he does! You are still minimizing the toxicity he brings to this part of the site by excusing it.

I discussed my disbelief about 0/0/0 with the poster in question back on baylorfans. I do not need to freak out every time he posts it over here. He demands a much higher standard of proof. I'm willing to say that when you have that many young men and women (football players or not) doing what are considered "normal" college activities in today's society, there are going to be some sexual assaults. What I cannot really do is pick out particular cases and speak with absolute certainty on them. It is not shaming victims for me to hold that position. It is not shaming victims to admit that women do lie at times about sexual assault. Victims don't lie, but non victims do.

Wow. An internet poster that posts a lot (largely gifs) is indefensible. But to most of this board rape is best not acknowledged or questioned on all fronts. Don't accuse unless you have evidence to convict. Don't sue unless you pressed charges. If you did press charges/see a conviction/later sue then you are a money grubbing *****. You are naive if you expect businessmen to comment on matters pending ligation. I get that. What annoys me is that the BOR actions negate their playing the Christian Mission card. They are running Baylor as a business. Christian leaders speak out for what they believe. They admit mistakes. They heal. Your first sentence and second short paragraph are spot on. What most of us here cite as evidence is simply all that we are allowed to see. I want one of these Title IX cases to go to trial so that I can read some testimony and internal documents that indicate what happened. On the other side, that is a grand opportunity for the media to bash us again. Dangerous.

Yogi, I am critical of Baptists in many instances. I am critical of Methodists. But I have been a Methodist for almost 20 years and was a Baptist for 30. In my commentaries on other denominations and religions, I am prone to exaggerating stereotypes that I don't fully understand.

Gust and milli are toxic the the free board. The site is probably losing freeboard traffic. Are the site owbers gaining or losing premium board traffic? I don't think that is a simple answer.

I am pretty clear in my opinion of Robe/Bearwitness/BearackObama being toxic to Baylor in their agenda. He is that woman you see in the Baptist Church every Wednesday and Sunday who simply doesn't require God because she has the omnipotence to judge everyone regardless if she has any evidence of wrongdoing - and then goes and gossips about the same to everyone else at the church, seemingly oblivious to her own history of sin and wrongdoing for which she has no account.

I agree with you point...especially the part of shaming the alleged as well...But let's be clear. I'm not shaming the victims. Shaming would be saying they deserved to get raped because of how they dressed or what they drank or where the were or who they went home with. That is shaming. I don't care what these girls had on or drank. I think they made a decision to have consensual relations with these football players and I've not seen one speck of evidence that they did not. If they had sex with these guys...good for her. if they had sex with a few of them...who are we to judge. I only have the problem with the lying about it and ruining young men's lives. That's all.

I railed against the BOR for years on Baylorfans and much of last year. I don't see a solution that our history with that group is going to change. Robemcdo/Bearwitness/BearackObama are toxins to Baylor that should not be ignored. They are on a Briles mission not a truth and justice mission. They were here a longtime before Milli and have been embraced by the handful of high volume posters on this board. if posters want to "shut me up" on this board, then start calling those three out on their absurdities. Otherwise, enjoy a decade of frequent posts about my new back-up teams of FAU and Southeastern. I was reluctant to jump on the bandwagon for those teams but did so this last month. I am in!!!!

Just posting my uninformed opinion like most here.

There is a canyon of difference between the type of posting in which Gust and Milli engage. Gust is a playful Troll who delights in farcical poking of a segment of the forum. He doesn't exercise hateful personal attacks to get his jollies. Though some of Gust's threads are meant to elicit a certain reaction, they are nonetheless topical and often create some worthwhile discussion if given the chance. Often, they are just silly and nonsensical.

Milli, on the other hand, has a completely reverse persona. He is intent on tracking and insulting posters. His comments are deeply personal in nature and full of degradation. He employs the technique of pummeling his adversary with unyielding personal attacks because he doesn't have the patience, nor the aptitude for debate. So...:Please don't make me lick the white dog **** Mr. Gardoki.
