Give Okie State credit they got 2-3 of the top scorers in the country. They will be a better team this season. Agree they will not win the NC, but they will be one of the better teams in the Big12. They will give a lot of teams trouble.

With their current roster I see their high side being 2025/2026 OSU (4th) and 2025/2026 ISU (7th). Teams routinely hide one poor defender, can't hide two against good teams, and no one can hide three. How they finish really depends on the improvement of the Tech, Arizona State, and BYU's of the league. The bottom half is bad. But that 3-8 range can fall any number of ways.

The bottom half is terrible. Still makes me scratch my head regarding Carlton going to Houston. Could ruin her stock for the draft if she doesn't develop to the level (or at the pace) that she would have otherwise. But I agree, OKC will be within the 4th - 7th place finish. That sad, their offense has the potential to be fun to watch. Could also be a dumpster fire if they can't figure out chemistry. Will be interesting to see.

Not sure that a 6'1 PF w/o a jumpshot has any draft stock.

Buggs is (athletically and physically) a small forward/wing. Fix her shot, you have a solid prospect.
Carlton is an undersized power forward. Not really close to Buggs in athleticism or build.

Coaches can fix a shot. Have yet to see a coach grow a player 3-4 inches taller.

Not a transfer portal note but I saw this. This feels similar to the K State player who was a former wnba pick except this one is a number 10 pick not like a third round pick.

This is the wild west…make the "big bucks" in college over a rookie contract. Declare for the draft, sign and defer. The brain trust of the NCAA has lost all control and appears incapable to do anything about it. IMO
