We were one of Camille's first offers. We are going to have to win more but even more importantly to get top players we definitely need get to 2nd weekend and if possible E8. If we could do that I think we can recruit more successfully at expected levels. Until then, I fear we will watch others load up. Pressures on!

As of today April 24:
2,570 entered the transfer portal.
532 committed.
2,038 still uncommitted.
Coach N should be able to find at least 1 good player from the portal.

Yes, there are good international players in Europe, Australia, Asia, Caribbean, S.America. But Coach N needs 1-2 players right now for 2026. It normally takes a long time to petition for student Visa, anywhere between 2-6 months wait time. But if player is top 10 recruit, wait time can be shorter.

OSU's roster is very confusing.
Crooks….great on O, horrid on D.
McGill…..great on D, solid on assists, can't shoot
And a collection of five to six 5'11 to 6'1 wing players who are decent shooters but not a ton of defense.
The Baylor v ISU game comes to mind. Sag off PG, stay on perimeter shooters, double from
PG to post, make PG beat you with jumpshots. Last year McGill shot 43% from field, 26.4% from 3.
OSU might turn out to be a great O team and rebound well……but will they be able to defend anyone?

Tell that to Lsu, South Carolina, Uconn, Ucla, Texas. High octane, high scoring games. It hasn't turned out well for them.

Is defense needed? Yes, but I've never seen a scoreboard displaying the number of defensive stops displayed on it. The name of the game is who can score the most points by the end of the 4th quarter, by any means.

Give Okie State credit they got 2-3 of the top scorers in the country. They will be a better team this season. Agree they will not win the NC, but they will be one of the better teams in the Big12. They will give a lot of teams trouble.
