Hard not impossible a kid has to be willing. I think DiDi is... I think she and juicy are the options at PG unless we get a grad transfer and or Moon or HSG make a push. 4 days a week shooting and ball handling !
I believe that juicy and honesty will run the point. Didi is too valuable where she is. Both juicy & honesty have great offensive skills for point guards.

Being a good ball handler and passer is not enough to play the point at this level. You also need to be a viable threat from outside, otherwise, the defenders can just play off of you to shut down you driving and passing lanes. A player like Di Di would be more effective offensively off the ball.

Agree. Didi is not our point guard

From what I've been told, Cooper has already committed to Baylor so she will be your point.

My next question is, and this may be a statement, but juicy at point is not a good look in my opinion. I definitely would go Honesty or Didi if the Cooper is not true. In every big game Mulkey trusted Richards with the ball if she needed to get Jackson a break. Losing to Oklahoma state, during the UConn game in the 4th and the Iowa state game. Juicy didn't play point on the AAU circuit at all. Honesty did and she did it a high level against some of the same competition that she is facing now. It's a matter of her regaining her confidence right now and taking care of the ball.

Again, I believe the Cooper situation is pretty much done and that will put a band aid over the point situation. 2020 will deliver the point guard that Baylor is looking for.

For short periods of time, a player like DiDi can be inserted in as the point. Most teams will not have game planned to play off her to shut down the driving and passing lanes. My previous point was directed at primarily playing someone who was not a legit outside threat at the point. Also, She could be effectively used to bring the ball down and handling the ball on fast breaks. The problem would only surface if she was used consistently at point in a half court set.

So I'll chime in..... clearly you didn't watch the season where Kristy Wallace went out with injury. Not only did Juicy run point for Baylor for the remainder of the year, she did so effectively. You can't adequately say that Juicy couldn't okay the point because she didn't at the AAU level. She's proven herself at a collegiate level which is a much more intensive level of play. Furthermore, I can assure you Juicy will run point a lot more this year as she makes her senior campaign for the WNBA.

Not arguing that Juicy can't play point but Morris was primarily the point guard after Wallace went down.

In the 2018 Big 12 championship game when Kristy went out in the second quarter, Juicy stepped in and ran point the rest of that game not Morris.

Morris was the point but I will gladly come back and visit this topic with you. I also will advise you to go watch a few practices before you make statements like this. You can watch them online even.

That was the West Virginia game, the last Big 12 regular season home game of the season. I still remember Kristy hopping all the way to the dressing room on one foot. Juicy ran point the rest of the game, Morris & Didi were suspended for that game. Morris started at point the rest of the year and we all thought she would be a star at Baylor but...

Not that racy. Thats what she would look like in a strapless dress.

And yes, beautiful young woman. Her personality and that smile will take her a long ways.

I assume that as well. But considering where are culture is going, some will make other assumptions.

Regardless, she is a beautiful young lady and this large photo only emphasizes that fact. But I think it is her personality that really shines. And that's not easy to show in a photo.

The best part about that clip is that those buckets were just a small sample. I don't think I can count the number of times Didi made buckets that way! The TV announcers remarked about it several times in games, noticeably during the NCAA tournament. I hope we see more of that this Fall.
