Jimmy finished at -2 after a 2 over (72), alone in 65th. Playing partner Jim Furyk had the day i was hoping JW would; Furyk shot 5 under (65) to finish at -9 (T41st).

Jimmy teeing it up today at the AMEX. They play 3 different course the first 3 days. The cut does not happen until after the 3rd round.

Jimmy is even through 2 holes so far at the Stadium Course.

Jimmy plays La Quinta CC tomorrow and the Nicklaus Tournament course on Sat.

Not a good day again today; JW is stuck in neutral on what should be a pretty easy course.
Even par thru 13 holes, still at +1 overall (T130th). The 5 holes he has left all seem relatively simple; hopefully he can card a birdie or 2 coming in and at least get 1 under total.

Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in San Diego, playing Wed - Sat this week. One round on each North & South courses, then only South course final 2 days.
Jimmy is on the North course Wed, South course Thurs; paired with Justin Rose & Kevin Tway.

Nice to see him have a better outing to start a tourney….but felt like he left some meat on the bone.

He was -4 at the turn on the easier course….but couldn't take advantage on the back and lost a stroke.

Yeah, the way JW played the front 9 i was expecting him to finish at 6 or 7 under for the day. Not sure what happened on the back 9 but he lost his mojo somehow.

Yep, he had a T24th in October which was actually the 2nd tournament of this year (wraparound season they do now). Last year he had a T6 in June and a T11 in July.

JW showed some decent signs at Torrey until the final day. On to Pebble. Jimmy won here in 2014 and had a T8 here in 2018.
