ESPN+ just cut over to show JW sinking a close birdie putt on 17….he started on the back today. He had all pars up to that birdie.

My guess is he will play in Phoenix; he's played there the last 3 times but with little success. MC in 2021, doing OK in 2020 then a big fat 78 final round dropped him to 63rd, and 44th in 2019.

I think this is his last year with PGA exemption if he doesn't finish top 125 FEDEX this season. He's currently 149th.

His OGWR is 344.

The Honda Classic at PGA National in Florida this week, Jimmy is in the field.
He's had some decent finishes in this tourney the past 5 or 6 years, twice tied 21st and tied 33rd.

Not the best start today for Jimmy; +2 thru 9 (T93rd). Leader is -6
Reviewing his round the trouble is his putter; he missed two makeable birdies from 6 ft & 7 ft, and also 4 putted for a double bogey from 36 ft. Yikes.
